Finally Basit Ayesha reunited

Liked all basit ayesha scenes. Both gave vibes of newly married lovey dovey couple.

Their bedroom scene, restaurant scene, balcony scene all were too good. Finally they moved on and basit confessed his love, she confessed that she likes him.

Bus ab yeh sofa ko dorr rakho.

Talal is back in the picture, my FaNo ship got sink 🥺

Let's agree to disagree..I believe husband and wife can mutually come to a decision, they can tell each other things which they may feel is not right ..they can take decisions for each other or negate the decisions if they feel it may not be right for them ..its mutual understanding and love , not controlling somebody's life..n it's def not abt empowerment , or subjugation of women's rights.

I know Ayesha is ambitious. I already said I'd be happy if she asserts her wish to work , complete her education . I'll be happy if basit gives her the freedom to choose..I'll also be happy if they can communicate this to each other..but whatever is happening in the story, I am OK with that too

It was good to see basit and ayesha happy . Zoya and qudsia scene was good too..qudsia was left speechless, Zoya was abs right. 👌 she is her mothers mirror image , why is qudsia complaining ?

I am disappointed in bano as I can't see where she's coming from.she lies to ayesha . Then she is trying to defend Zoya, even after knowing Zoya stole the money and blew up her chances with Aamir.. only if she and ayesha were assertive enuf with Zoya when she was stealing in the house , may be Zoya would think twice..but Zoya has everyone jumping to her defence. 👎🏼

She must tell ayesha the truth abt 75 lakhs . N tell her that qudsia is twisting the truth .

Basit didn't disappoint ..he is a good guy , on the way of becoming a good husband ..its as though the insecurities r a thing of past ..one thing is that the bg song looks awkward now..main ka kuch boli they kept showing basits face when he spoke 😆 When he confessed..sajti firoon aahein bharoon sab kuch basit par chala rahe the😆

The confession was so sudden and out of the blue... but loved every second of that balcony scene. I have already watched that and their bedroom scene 5-6 times by now😳 It was great to see Basit and Ayesha happy and smiling for a change. For at least one episode, there was no jhamela just for plot sake (which I count as a huge win).

While I love Bano, she has always been an indecisive person. Even during the Talal matter, she was always pleading while Ayesha tried to take a stand for her sake. She has never had an assertive quality...rather always acts as an advisory. She will listen to everyone who speaks, be it Ayesha, Qudsia, Zoya or Bobby phupho. And based on what they say, she tries to give the best advise she can.

Another important thing, while she may not be opportunistic and greedy, she also doesn't mind the convenience that comes from someone else's manipulation. Like she was against Qudsia for taking 75 lacs, but she also understood that getting the home to their name was a good thing. In the same way, she didn't like Basit in the beginning as she thought him to be arrogant, but also didn't mind working with him when he gave him a job.

So, I am not surprised that she is willing to hide the 75 lacs thing from Ayesha. Because she sees that revealing the truth might cause further problems for both their family as well as Ayesha's married life.

I loved loved loved the scene where Zoya confronts Qudsia regarding her shitty upbringing. Every word she spoke was true. Zoya has seen her mother manipulate every person in her life for money since her childhood, so she is doing the same now. What you see is what you become.

BUT.... and this is a big but, this does not absolve Zoya of her wrongdoings. She chose to steal that money. She is an adult and must face the consequences of her actions. I am quite happy that Aamir came to know her true nature, and I would like to see her suffer a bit.

Also regarding Zoya, the way she is today, is not only due to Qudsia. I feel the blame lies more with Bobby phupho. It has always been shown that she has always tried to hide her wrongs from her mom and sisters. She seldom reprimanded her, and never too strongly. When Qudsia or any of the sisters tried to be harsh with her, she stopped them. So, if Zoya really wants to blame someone, I think that person should be Bobby phupho. Qudsia is money-minded. But by being so, she has made her daughters independent. She made sure they studied hard, so they could earn well. But we know that Zoya was not good in studies. I feel that is more Bobby's influence than Qudsia's.

I am choosing to ignore Talal and Soha. Both are non-existent for me. I do not understand why did they have to come back.

I will hate it if Bano goes back to that spinless loser. I hope he is only back so that Bano sees what has become of her wife and realizes that she is better off. She can stop living with regrets and finally move on. I do not want to see this track going any other way.

Soha, when she first appeared, was such a sorted and relatable character. I supported her decision to break the engagement as she realized that Basit and her hold different world views. Now ever since she has come back, the way she keeps chipkoing to him is disgusting to see. Why an educated, good-looking, rich girl thinks she needs a married man in her life is something I will never understand...no matter how many shows I watch.

Okay this turned out to be far longer than I thought it will be 😆

As for Ayesha's job, I think that issue is still not settled. When they were talking about it, it seemed like Ayesha had more to say but she stops herself. Also when Basit tells her Soha is managing her dad's business, Ayesha's face looked like she was trying very hard to remain nonchalant. I hope Ayesha will make Basit realise that she, a topper in her university, deserves to get to study further ahead and work, not for money, but simply because it would be challenging and enjoyable for her. She did have dreams at one point and to give them all up would be very unfair on her.

I felt no sympathy for Talal. His wife was completely justified when she asked him not to talk loudly, the baby is sleeping. Does he even know how hard it is to get a baby to sleep? Also he asked, what use are you if you can't iron my shirt!?! Like whatttt!! Is she your wife? Or your personal attendant?! Iron your own shirt, you man-child!

@bold: I think Ayesha right now is very happy. She may have some dreams regarding her career or studies, but for now, she is happy to be just Mrs. Basit. The matter will arise again next week, maybe when Soha says something and her insecurities resurface once more.

I will agree with Krinya on this issue here. She never wanted to work for working...it was always a means to an end. Even when Basit gave her money for her family, she did say to Sadia that she cannot accept the money as she didn't feel she has any right on Basit as her wife. So, she didn't have any right on his money as well. That problem is now solved.

She will once again think about working when her insecurities come to the fore due to Soha. She might feel Basit is interested or more engaged with Soha because they can talk about business. And she will want a part in that. Or, she might feel Soha carries herself with such confidence because of her working background, so she will want to experience that for herself. We will have to wait and see how the makers conclude this track.

I love Dil Dhadakne Do. It is one of the finer movies made in recent years. And that scene of Farhan Akhtar is a true gem.❤️

But I do not think it applies to Basit over here. While he did act like a true jerk towards Ayesha when he fired her, I do recognize he had valid reasons. Unfortunately, Ayesha lacks the required qualification to work a prestigious job, and her being a mere secretary to him or his peers wouldn't be a good look for his image. But the guy is bad at talking out his feelings (at least he used to be) and he handled the matter very very badly. Hope this around, he does better.

I don't think Ayesha did this deliberately. The girl doesn't yet know the power she holds. She just wanted to ignore Soha completely and was passing time doing her own thing. Hence, the lipstick and the drumming of her fingers. She was just waiting for the call to end without realizing the effect she has her on smitten husband. I doubt Basit remembers a word he said to Soha...he was completely lost🤣

On a side note, do you guys think Basit deliberately hid the fact that Soha used to be his fiancee? Or is it so insignificant to him that he didn't think it should be mentioned? I feel like this will come back to bite him later on. You do not say your ex-fiancee is just a family friend....that is a clear misdirection. Even if he doesn't realize it😆

I think Basit never mentioned Soha as his ex gf cause he never saw that woman as his ex... There were no feelings, no attachment, no affection... He really thinks of her as a friend so there was no need to elaborate on his past with her... I doubt that he will ever come clean regarding Soha simply because he thinks it's unnecessary although I do feel that bitch will take advantage of their past relationship at some point and try to come in between them...

I think he realized after all they've been through that she's the one for him and he's making the most out of it... Just like he told her on the phone he's been enjoying his personal life these days and one can clearly see that 😍 Happiness written all over his face 🥰
