Kareena Never Had it So Good

Kareena Kapoor has never had it so good. She is all over the place these days, TV ads, big banners, endorsements, you name it and it is in her kitty. Even the debacle of Tashan has not created any dent in her success. What's even more, the actress is believed to have made it back into the SRK, Karan Johar camp as well.

If reports are to believed, then Karan Johar is believed to be getting impatient with Kajol. The actress has not yet categorically turned down or accepted the offer to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in his next film, My Name is Khan. Despite the fact that Kajol is Karan's favourite and a good friend as well, he may not be in a mood to wait forever. In fact, he is already believed to be in talks with Kareena, who is more than ready to step into Kajol's shoes. The actress, who worked in Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham when she asked for an astronomical sum to work in Kal Ho Na Ho. Preity Zinta went on to play the role but it was initially offered to Kareena. Her demand was not taken well by either Karan or SRK. Since then, Kareena has tried her hardest to make her way back into the fold. She even did the item number, 'Yeh Mera Dil' in Farhan Akhtar's remake of Don starring SRK. It all seems to have finally paid off with it being only a matter of time probably before she is announced as SRK's love interest in Karan's next. And that's not all. Kareena has always harbored a desire to work with the other Khan, Aamir as well. He is apparently her favourite actor. Now the two of them are working together in Raj Kumar Hirani's next. The two almost worked together in Mani Ratnam's Lajjo and Vishal Bharadwaj's Mr Mehta and Mrs Singh. But neither of the films worked out. Kareena is now in that phase of her career when everything she wants she gets. Great going girl!
