With that being said I am getting super annoyed at.the OTT acting by RG. Her constant repetition of words (Surry Surry thank u thank u bohut bohut bohut etc etc ) , her pronunciation of certain words (what is poblem, matlab is always pronounced wrong)

Why is RG making Anu sound so ...dumb? Anu went to college ..and no1 around her speaks like that.

Then there's the OTT crying & stuttering the words always. Her portrayal of Anu is generally good but lately I'm finding she is really overdoing it. That college intro scene was 😵‍💫. All I kept hearing was surry surry thank u...it's like she was glitching & trying to reboot her system.

Honestly many of the scenes are OTT including the actors portrayal so it's not just RG. But she gets the most screen time & bhashan every epi it's easier to notice & stands out

For me, the super annoying word is time as tame.it's like she has not seen even school in her life.

she starts anywhere wiping her nose with her pallu (eg. in college) and wipes others' faces with the same pallu. From any angle, it does not appear that she wants to learn anything or work on herself. But never misses a single chance to give lessons to others.

but is it the writers or is it RG improvising? Like that college scene...I don't think the writers r that lazy that half her auto biography was laced with thenku Surry etc .. I feel like RG is adding her own twist to the character which can work when done right..but lately it's TOO much ...she did the same repetition when speaking to Pakhi and Adhik today and I don't think it was scripted...but it was so cringe

For me most annoying is..thenk you times infinity.. with that face like she has her mouth stuffed with food.

she needs to fade it out as it does not make sense that she keeps pronouncing every english word incorrect. It is exaggeration and is not cute like some say on twitter

However educated or not the person is, diction and pronunciation is individualistic in nature. Unless one wants to work on diction and get it right for themselves no amount of education or lack there of is going to make a change. You can hear the word, correctly pronounced N number of times, but nothing is going to make difference unless you listen and try to emulate it.

Over the top acting toh aaj aayega! With her fake panic attacks to garner Anuj’s sympathies. Isse annoying aurat puri duniya mein nahin hogi. She got what she wanted. Daughter is leading a luxurious life. Kuch bhi galat hoga toh Anuj ke mathe maar degi and apna royegi toh Bhakt Anuj will rush and come and gir gir kar seva karega. Seriously, I feel someone should kidnap her so that others can live peacefully for a while.

I don’t think Anupama has had a single normal conversation , it’s always overreacting or the unnecessary generalizations of every little moment to society.

IMO I have no issue with her English. I don't think English or any other language should be gatekeeped. As long as she is able to communicate what she wishes to say in an effective manner then she can speak however she wants.

However, I do agree with this point that RG's acting is.... subpar nowadays. Something about her mannerisms really put me off. At the beginning of the show I genuinely found her cute and endearing and had a soft spot for her. Now, she just irritates me with her unnecessary bashans.

Or else I will get to hear about every middle class woman, how what when why, but she won't respond in two words that I am looking for - "Achchi hoon"

I specially found her acting odd in that scene where she talks about lack of education in her life with the ladies …

The way she says shiksha and stares at the camera like a deer stuck in headlights 😳😳with the widest fake smile on the planet….it was soo peculiar and uncomfortable to watch those expressions …she really does need to work On those ott moments she overdoes them…

Sometimes she particularly sticks out like a sore thumb in scenes with GK…he’s such an effortless actor who always hits the right notes …hers in comparison seem a bit jarring
