Y even India is allowing Rahul to play instead of Shikhar Dhawan..

Rahul is out of form from Asia cup… he’s such a waste player… hardly can contribute to any score for India🤪

So Pak is fully out of tournament or still they have some chances?

99.99% out. Would need India to lose to both Zim and Bangladesh, or SA to lose to Netherlands (assuming Pak win both of their remaining games)

India's last two matches will be against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Let's see what happens in those two games. If they want any chance to reach Semi Finals, they need to improve in fielding and batting,

Good thing is everyone except Netherlands still has a chance. Another win will almost ensure SA a spot in the Semi Finals.

South Africa's defeat can improve Pakistan's chances to reach the top of the table. Of course they have to win their last two games. One against South Africa and the other against Bangladesh.

The general assumption is, with a healthy net run rate and with two more games to go against somewhat weaker teams, India will go to semi finals.

This loss was all on fielding. just 40 runs in 10 overs given by bowlers and they needed nearly 100 in last 10 . It was going all well but that catch drop and countless run out misses cost us bad. Bowling was again superior and almost saved us when bats,an screwed up again.

But a team with such piss poor fielding doesn't deserve to win.

@bold: Thats exactly why. India has BD and ZIM left now which they are expected to win. Indian team hasnt suffered any upset since 2007 world cup vs BD. Generally we win vs these teams easy. So we end up on 8 points. SA is now on 5 points and they have to face pak and ned. If Pak beat both SA and BAN they would be max 6 points. Sa would be stuck on 5 points if india would have beat them. But now Pak are more or less eliminated now because SA will get 7 points by beating NED easy. India already on 8, SA on 7 even if pak beat them .

Basically just pray that both bd and zim beat india or NED defeat SA. 😆
