This post is Inspired by Lethamukund words:

1. 'Madame' : This word has a big importance in the whole show. The way Raj's father treats Manmeet with respect coz he knows she is an Asset makes me happy. When female leads are mostly shown with no identity or ml's father being egoistic. Here we see the bonding of an invester and a Company head. They are highly professional and Manmeet's words are not taken lightly as a second generation. Even after so much things happened he keeps on the Mutual Respect for Manmeet because she is the face of his success in the field of Architecture.

2. 'Age doesn't matter' : From what I understood Manmeet is in her 30s and Raj is yet to enter the 30 zone. They not thinking twice in the show, especially Roshan's parents and trying to Pair up Raj & Manmeet. Also Raj's mother thinking more about Anmol being Raj's son rather Manmeet's age or image as daughter in law also shows that age isn't a big concern for any relationship.

3. 'Parents' : Parents in ITV were never shown as strength. They are mostly shown judging, over dramatic, not at all reliable and not understanding. Here Manmeet's father and Raj's father never exaggerate stuff and try to go to the base of the rumour. When Raj's father asked where was Manmeet when he was attacked, her father defended her saying she was with her parents. But with strong command as a parent he asked the truth to her so that things doesn't get over complicated. This proves Parents in this show is neither too outgoing nor too orthodox. They represent the reality of being a parent.

4.'Love' : Most ITV dramas show love to come in life in first sight, or getting together too much or even in a push or pull relationship. They have too many eye locks, reminiscing each other etc. Raj fell for Manmeet on a rather simple note. At first he couldn't accept her strictness as she was kind of unconventional in his eyes. Then he saw her Boss nature, which is reliable and strong. It made him fill with admiration towards his superior. Third he understood she is a go getter which made him idolize her coz he was still struggling to get his identity in his dream job of comedy but she established herself as the best architect which was her dream. Playing husband wife role made him see her another side which is mostly not seen in office, the human side which made him comfortable with her. And the hit on the nail was her honesty to his family about the kid, the honesty was enough to show her courageous side to him. When a love is based, it can be based in many things: Arnav Khushi from IPKKND had two factors. Arnav loved Khushi coz she was a cheerful girl with an opposite personality of his and filled his mundane life with excitement with her antics. Whereas Khushi loved his caring side for his family. In Imlie, Aryan loved a girl who might achieve nothing but had confidence. Whereas Imlie loved Aryan coz he gave her security and inspiration. But here Raj's extreme respect towards Manmeet is actually turning it to love for him. He loves her for herself, and being herself actually ignites respect in him for her. But he has fantasy about her which is quite far of reality, well that's what normally happens. When someone starts falling in love they imagine different scenarios which may never be any reality in real life.

5. 'Characters' : Characters in this show doesn't feel monotonous. They are characters who are never shown before in ITV. Outer Circles don't understand things much. Gunjan's sasural who tried to do Raj Family's chaaplusi behaviour to get the hotel in Shimla would freak out if they hear Mr.Yadav treating Manmeet with respect. I am sure they would even freak out if they know Manmeet's net worth. Gunjan is shown as the typical family member who is selfish and characters like her do exist. Raj's family do behave like a rich family flaunting authority to the extent it is actually needed. Manmeet's family is a family who should be an example to ITV family. They love their family more than image.

Now whether Raj could talk out or not Manmeet shaking up her emotions play a big role. But as we know here the roles got reversed where Raj is the emotional one coz he had the luxury to grow up being pampered and Manmeet being too Rational for being a single lady who climbed success. It will be an amazing equation to see, their journey.

True. For the first time I am seeing an FL with full family, who supports her in her professional and personal life. No melodramas. Especially both papa shergil and yadav are so realistic. The same with both mothers. Mama shergil is a typical Indian mother who wants her daughter to be settled and she tries her level best for the same

All the side characters and both leads looks so real and fresh. Totally relatable story in modern society

Only thing I found odd is Raj's dreams and imaginations, and they totally lack chemistry. Total mismatch of personalities.

But thats what the story is about. And here story is the real lead

I am impressed with how Papa and Mama yadav calls her shergill madam, even after all the mess they are in. they believe her words more than Raj. curious part is the parents of ML is more worried for getting their son linked in a fake relationship. generally girls parents used to be worried about society and all in such situation. here papa shergill is cool
