Abhi-Ash to go to Cannes fest

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a regular at the Cannes [Images] Film Festival since 2002, the year her film, Devdas, was screened at the festival.

This year too, Ash, who is the brand ambassador for L'Oreal, will arrive in Cannes on May 25. She will be accompanied by husband Abhishek Bachchan [Images], whose upcoming film Dilli 6 will be showcased at the festival. Dilli 6 actress Sonam Kapoor [Images] and director Rakeysh Omprakash will also attend.

Ash and Abhishek made their first appearance together at the festival last year, when their film, Guru, was screened at Cannes.

After the festival, Abhishek and Ash will head to the US to complete the shoot of his latest film, Dostana, co-starring John Abraham [Images].

The Bachchans have a lot planned this year. After their film, Sarkar Raj in June, the stars will be off for their world tour in July.

Im looking forward to seeing Sonam at Cannes! and it's great Dilli 6 is going to be shown as well👏

Thats good for Abhishek...last year Guru, this year Dilli 6 at Cannes.

It will be interesting to see what Aish and Sonam wear on the red carpet

Chanel...hmmmm...Sonam in a gown...we haven't seen her in any such gowns yet...or for that matter she hasnt' walked ANY red carpet yet!! So I think whatever she puts on we are gonna go nuts!!

Last year Ash's makeup was awful.The dress was good.I hope this year She gets everything right...For that she has to lose Abhi for a day 😆

^^^^Not sure if you noticed, but how exactly is Abhishek tagging along? Last year he was at the event for his film Guru and this year he has been invited for Dilli 6.

As for Aish's dress and makeup.....both will be decided by L'oreal.
