The point is, be it Sai or P - they're behaving from the "mother's point of view"
I won't call it guilt - but she's definitely in a situation where her child wants to know who her father is. The father is right in front of them but circumstances are such that she can't reveal it just like that.
More than guilt it is fear.
Fear of what will happen when V knows. It right away hints at custody. More of what if.
What if V takes Savi away. And most importantly what if Savi also wants to stay with her father.
And the next blow - what if everyone knows the truth. In the entire sequence Vinu and P will also suffer.
I don't think it is guilt, it is more or less how every mother would think in such a situation.
Also the precap, V has made his statements clear to the audience. But he fails to see that Sai has grown into a mother. And her every decision will revolve around the betterment of her child. She will zero on whatever makes her child happy even if it means Savi wanting to stay with her father. Sai will let go off her grip easily.
Whatever this guy has vomitted - zidd, manmani, etc etc will get back at him.
It is pretty much like the anniversary scene.
I also think V might not take away Savi but Savi would want to stay with her father. When the initial phase of baap beti pyaar is done, she will miss Sai. Then again there would be some fitting in of Sai in the "happy family".
One thing CVs did right - cement bhai behen relationship. When these three idiots are stuck in the non-existential omnipresent triangle, the kids will change gears to bring them back together. Aise nahi toh waise.
I absolutely agree with Moor here. P and Sai have taken up the role of a mother but V is still stuck. Badly stuck between his past and present.
