Amruta-Pratik -- act was simple and nice though not much extraordinary tbh. Yeah, the Kathak portions were bit unclean with the tatkar and chakaars but nonetheless it was nice. Teri deewani was nice sync though I felt Amu over-expressed a bit and the choreographer was moving more of hand over the wrist, I felt Amu did better there just the expression was bit too much. I did like Pratik's depiction of using the "mushti" hastak as the bow and arrow which is normally seen in Kathak as Lord Ram's depiction whenever dance-related acts as performed pertaining to his story in the 2nd teri deewani part. Though I felt Pratik got bit lousy in the "pataka hand" as opposed to him doing an "arala" hasta. I felt 27 was justified score, tbh.
Gunjan-Tejas -- Nice attempt but again repetitive. Murli depiction felt bit overdone. Gunjan and Tejas are just dancing in their comfort zone. Some places felt out of sync or maybe its the song thats too fast for them to retain the synchronization. The chand/thumri that Madhuri is referring to, it's from Hum Hindustaani sung by Lata ji.
Rubina-Sanam -- Rubina wasn't that good in the beginning, IMO. I didn't find the fierceness that I've seen in Mahabharat tv shows (whether it's the 1988 or 2013 version). Sync issues were prevalent. When Sanam lifted Rubina whilst grabbing by her hair, I felt like she was getting an electric shock more than depicting Draupadi's pain. Last part with the Draupadi's chir-haran wasn't that bad but Rubina felt bit blanked out in terms of expressions. "Saam daam dand bhed started nice but felt sync issues later onwards."
Akash-Niti -- Akash's shiv tandaav was pretty intense and I really liked it! Though some minor issues and some crispness is required but I felt the attempt was very nice. I felt Niti was bit low in energy and expressions, tbh at times. But there is definitely some improvement for sure. Expressions require bit of polishing tbh. Later, I felt it was more of lifting which I felt could've toned down and focused more on the dancing bits. I felt Akash's Shiv tandav was very effort --- some suggestions would be to work more on the hastas like trishula for Lord Shiva's trident. Lord Nataraja's pose was nice expression wise but pose was bit off, tbh.
Nia-Tarun -- I felt Tarun's part was less intense and bit lousy. Nia's did nice in terms of expressions but I felt dancing was less. I didn't feel much power in their dance solos. Visually it was nice conceptualization but there were definitely stability issues esp in the ending bit.
