just because two people are not constantly at each other's throats and can have conversations that are not always fights their rivalry is 'fake'. They have to survive in one house, and now in one room.

If they are getting over their fights, its good.

Same thing is happening here. Both girls realized Shiv's plan. They can't show they felt bad and defeated by Shiv's smartness. Therefore, both are showing cool and may join hands to out smart Shiv.

This game only have 3 good players.

I don't think the rivalry was/is fake. They will continue to bicker and clash but they've understood that Shiv has played a bigger game and want to counter that. They'll do what's necessary for the game by becoming friends or close to friends.

Their personalities were bound to clash. Both want to stand out and both want to lead.
