Thursday and Friday were brutal. I was shivering so much all night, I was planning my own funeral. I could barely get out of bed to even go pee. I don’t think I ate anything other than little bit of soup the last few days. But once the fever wore off yesterday afternoon, I felt like normal again. It was wild. I feel a lot better now and working from home until I test negative. Thank you! This virus is not a joke. I was so careful and never caught it before. Yes hard to escape I guess - have been hearing so many cases these days.

Thank you Nishita!! Everyone’s positive vibes and well wishes definitely helped me. It’s really hard to escape. This one going around is especially contagious. I mean I’ve been working in the hospital setting since the height of pandemic and never once caught it but now I do. What even 🤦🏽‍♀️

glad you better do it was by traveling? Since there no longer mask mandates when traveling domestically it’s easier to catch the virus !! Esp at the airport

Yea, I am sure of it. I usually wear N-95 when traveling. This time, I was lax and tried to skate by with the surgical mask. No can’t do. Be careful Jess. Wear an N-95 if you can.

Not yet. I was planning on getting the booster with the flu shot in November. Now I have to wait a few more weeks or so I think.
