Rest what charu has said, I underlined that part, mujhe bhi wo hi feel huya. Mukhda was really good...antara difficult hai, even being a non-singer I can sense that, but still you tried and did a decent job. 🤝

Exactly for someone who doesn't have any training, attempting this song in the same scale in itself is a big thing!

Tujhse naraz male female dono voices me already hai but pitch different hai.. if you listen carefully, woi song male voice me thoda lower pe hai but female me thoda high me hai..

Same way aye zindagi agar female try karegi same sound track me, thoda high pitch se she will have to try and then it sounds shrill in antara.

This is what I feel, I may be wrong. Anyways I am definitely gonna try again!

Hi Nathu, I've heard both versions, your first verse is fine, and in sur, but you're getting thrown off in the second verse, and I think it's because it starts off at a much higher pitch, which is probably beyond your range, and that's why you're having a difficult time picking up the second verse.

Try singing along with the original song, that should help you with picking up the sur, and you'll see where you're going wrong.

I think I'm having a different opinion than everyone else. The pitch factor is there I agree, but there is bigger factor at play here IMO. The music of this composition is very complex. In the mukhda while the music is running superfast the vocals are relatively show paced (i.e..aye zindagi gale laga le). Then in the antara where i went wrong in the first version was more in the sur department than the pitch ( IMO). In the second version i tried to pace the lines better and the difference is visible. It is better than 1st in my opinion and also in the marks it got i.e. A++ compared to version one where it got A+. The reason was in the first version i was going a bit faster than required. I was able to go higher in pitch too but that would again throw me out of sur because the rhythm is very precise. There is hardly any scope to deviate from what is prescribed.

The main problem of this song is not the pitch but to keep pace with the music which dramatically changes between mukhda and antara. Even if u miss a beat u will be thrown off the sur. This is why i have been asking people to sing WITH music track. Without music it would be easy to pace ur lines but with music there is no scope for missing a beat.

If u sing this song along with the music track, you'll realise what I'm saying. Cos i can't explain it in proper musical terms aside the fact the for the antara to seem right u need to have 'thevrav' in your voice. In the first version i was going hasty but controlled it in the second version and u can see the difference.

There is a song - mere naseeb me tu hai ki nahi.

It seems not too difficult when u hear the mukhda but just listen to the antara of the original song and u will see how difficult it is to pace the lines with music in the antara. Something of that sort is happening in this song - aye zindagi, too, in the antara.
