Milni function ....
As per yday epi the Singhs are going to the Grewals house for Milni function...i was wondering wht function is it so i Google it đłđ....here is the meaning of Milni
Milni Ceremony is a part of Hindu and Sikh weddings and it is held before the marriage rituals begin. Once the groom arrives from the Baraat procession, he will be welcomed by the closest relatives of the bride who bless him with rose water, while offering him Shagun, a token of good luck.
Milni literally means "introductions". In a Sikh marriage, Ardas is performed by the person in charge of looking after the Sikh scriptures, followed by the formal introductions of senior men in the families. For example, both eldest chachas (father's younger brother) will come together and exchange garlands of flowers.
Supreet approaching Adi as a mom figure is wrong as Adi ll never gives her his mom place. It ll better if she only tries to maintain a good human approach with him...may be with time they hv a better bond.
But Ginni giving Supreet the opportunity to make her wear the bangles as a MIL was a lovely gesture from Ginni's part.
Ek hi dress ke BTS aa rhe h 3-4 din se .....haldi mehendi ,shaadi ke liye bhi toh kuch drama chorođ€ȘđČ
Jo karna h karo but "chup chup ke milna" ka promise nibhaana writersđĄ

Yeah, I really hate this regressive portrayal. Why do the FLs have to be poor always? They donât have to be shown super rich, but atleast keep them independent and capable of running their own homes! In a popular show, the FL is a freakin doctor and yet, canât pay the bills of her house đ
I didnât even like it when Aditya scolded the cook when the tamarind was added to the soup. Instead of asking questions, he went in all guns blazing and humiliated the cook. Apparently, thatâs supposed to showcase his love and devotion for Ginni đ Would he have done that with his own mother or any other family member, if they had made such a mistake? Why did he feel so comfortable speaking in that tone to another human, especially one who canât answer back?
I have seen my Mum displaying objectionable behaviour towards the housekeepers, and I am really blessed that I learnt NOT to emulate this as I grew up. This isnât acceptable at all.
If the makers really come sneaking here by chance then they should take notice of this.

This, so much. It's pathetic how TV normalises abusive/patronising behaviour towards house-helps. I felt really uncomfortable also in the last day's episode when Adi was apparently missing Ginni, and when the cook came to call him for meals he just shouted at him to get out of the room, for no apparent reason. He could have just normally dismissed him saying he was not feeling like eating, but he just had to shout. Like these people are not your slaves, they do their job and are on a payroll. If my boss behaved like that to me I will have him/her reported for harrasment. đđŒ

And this too, totally annoys me. Even in chota sithara's other popular show, the FL is supposedly a public servant and yet shown so helpless. Also, what is this about the dhabha not getting even one customer when Ginni is not there? Don't they follow the same recipes as she uses? I mean how bad can the others beđ. I can understand some decrease in the number of customers, but the way they showed it defies logic completely.
Badly want Aditya to meet Ginni atleast once đđ„°đ„°
