My friends are shocked to see my routine & ask me what do I do the whole day. I try to keep minimum interactions with people. And people know that I won't come to a party. Parties and all are not my cup of tea.

What I dislike in almost every ITV serial is this disrespect towards housekeepers and cooks. In the last episode, Aditya snaps at the server just because his mood was bad. That’s not cool at all. Why the makers promoting this attitude?

Previously, Shailaja would mistreat Ginni because she considers her a house help. Such a shitty thing to do and show on national television. It is promoting classist and discriminatory behaviour.

If the helpers make a mistake in these shows and even when they don’t, the protagonists treat them harshly and that’s seen as acceptable and a sign of power. That’s totally regressive and we should have moved beyond such portrayal by now 🤢

Absolutely agree!!!! take FLs , in most of the shows they are given the doormat treatment, GK tops the list, she being a woman has the history of the most regressive plots in her shows, and why the FL has to be poor always so ML can remind her of her auqaat in every next scene???, Aditya is no exception he too did the same with Ginni in the initial episodes and I am grateful that the makers didn't stretch this vile behavior of his for long but in yesterday's episode which you have pointed out that this vileness was back and it didn't even look cute because the makers implied through that scene that a rich handsome guy in love and away from his lady love can say anything to a servant who is just doing his job and has no fault at all.

Yeah, I really hate this regressive portrayal. Why do the FLs have to be poor always? They don’t have to be shown super rich, but atleast keep them independent and capable of running their own homes! In a popular show, the FL is a freakin doctor and yet, can’t pay the bills of her house 😭

I didn’t even like it when Aditya scolded the cook when the tamarind was added to the soup. Instead of asking questions, he went in all guns blazing and humiliated the cook. Apparently, that’s supposed to showcase his love and devotion for Ginni 😒 Would he have done that with his own mother or any other family member, if they had made such a mistake? Why did he feel so comfortable speaking in that tone to another human, especially one who can’t answer back?

I have seen my Mum displaying objectionable behaviour towards the housekeepers, and I am really blessed that I learnt NOT to emulate this as I grew up. This isn’t acceptable at all.
