Sorry to those who observe KC. But I don't believe KC should be followed by any wife to prove their love to the husband. What is the surity that their life will be increased because of the fast...
I am a Gujarati, Gujjus don't do fast on KC but still few Gujjus keep a fast on KC, to follow the trend of TV series.
I'm going to say this as simply as possible and only because this was quoted to my previous comment.😊
NO! There's no surety what could or could not be efficient in saving a life, but shouldn't it be a respective choice of the pair / husband / wife whether they want to follow a particular tradition or not? I do not understand the need to blatantly make it out to be something heinous and deplorable when it is all about personal preference and willingness to do something for your significant other.
I know we pick up traditions according to what we see our families doing but no one can force you to fast if you do not want to.
What a respective individual believes is irrelevant to the other person's own choice regarding the matter.
It all comes down to the matter of choice. I wouldn't condemn anyone if they feel that the fast is unnecessary and do not want to be a party to it, but at the same time I would expect no inexcusable mention for people near me who actually do fast throughout the day and have been fasting since years, which include both women and men.
Lmao if there was guarantee for things I could have been at a totally different place and condition than what I currently am right now! 😆
