Aish has started her career with her guru mani ratnam ji so she will do his movies right whether it's iruver, kaudukodiyn kadukodiyan, guru, ravanaan, now ps 1 right so lobbying for the role is not something is she doing. Between this is also irony.

Aish did not have to lobby for this role. Mani Rathnam had be working on making PS1 for decades now. When he made Iruvar with Aish it was clear to him and many others that Nandini has to be Ash as Nandini is similar to the charachter of Ash in Iruvar. The Ice Queen, a woman with a inherent ruthlessness and selfishness in heart and agrravated into evil coldness/ emotionless by the circumstances and people she grew up with but able to cover it up in her mask of breathtaking beauty

When Mani announced the movie here in TN atleast every fan of MR agreed that there cannot be anyone else but Ash in that role
For other cast a lot of people were apprehensive about but Ash everyone felt perfect for that role and when the movie released they and Mani have been proven right

The charachter inspired by Jayalalitha was played perfectly by Ash and Nandini is similar hence she was casted first before anybody else. Ash ofcourse would always love working with Mani because well he is Mani Rathnam

Even i know this and I'm not her fan.
