I do not remember SRK thanking any singer for making him what he is.

Same goes for other actors.

Actors never bother about team behind songs that make them.

I hate how singers are underpaid or denied credit. And music awards like Mirchi awards also celebrate only actors or have stars as chief guests. Why no exclusive celebration of musicians?

I remember Javed slammed Aamir rightly when he asked if his QSQT songs became popular due to him who was nobody or due to singer, lyrics and music?

Why they thank producers and directors or co stars also who simply do their job and get paid or pay others and do no favours?

Singers often make careers of actors. The way Kishore da gave hit songs to AB, Kaka and Dev saab and scored their voices. Made them more iconic.

Or Rafi scored voice of Dharmendra and Rajendra Kumar. The latter would have no career if not for hit songs of Rafi.

Singers should be credited and paid well and recognised well.
