Guys though my son's fever is gone his platlates count have gone down. No visible severity. Done blood test and started medication. Food intake is good as of now. Doctor kept him under observation for a day. Asked him to take juices and liquids then again tomorrow test. If no improvement then will plan next course of action.

I hope Naado mom is recovered and will hear from Naado some news,Padma,sorry to hear your son is sick.When you say platelets are doiwn…. Did he. get dengue? No worries he will be fine. To increase is platelet count give give papaya leaves juice. Tbat will increase the platelet count.He can also drink beets juice with lemon juice to increase iron levels.My sis daughter works in hyd she got dengue.It took almost a week to ger normal. Now dengue,typhoid and malaria are very common thru out india,All these ome trom mosquito bite.Take care everyone.stay healthy and happy ❤️🤗

Platelet counts have to be monitored stringently. Below 50,000 requires hospitalization and I remember when mine was dropping even lower, doctors infused 50,000 platelets at night but next morning my platelets were 20,000, the Dengue virus destroys so much and is so lethal, so platelet and WBC should be regularly monitored in Dengue. If WBC is low it means the virus is dominating, if it is near normal, it is a good sign that the body is fighting the infection, praying for your son, if fever is gone means he is recovering but immunity is still weak so the platelets are low.
