LMAO I have a similar story but in my case, the guy didn’t need to palat as I had a full-frontal view of his mug … or so I thought. This was during my first year of uni when I ardently refused to wear my glasses. Basically, I was walking around in a blur, when I noticed this cute guy staring at me. I was honoured by his attention and thus began the eye-locking games for a whole two weeks. We’d catch each other staring from a distance and he’d be all like 😏 and I was all 😳.

One day he mustered the courage to sit next to me in the library. He then started a conversation and I turned my head and finally got a proper view of his face. He had a MISSING TOOTH (canine) and the most AUSSIEST OUTBACK accent I’ve ever heard. I was horrified. I tried to be nice but I wanted to kill myself.

Thus began our hide & seek game. I started hiding at uni (literally wore a hoodie and ran to class) while he was looking around for me. After that, anytime I saw a cute guy, I’d put on my glasses and confirm. 🤣
