Indeed a very good scene and well enacted.
I partially agree with you on the revelation Moor. But not completely.
Compare Vinu and Savi's truth (assuming Vinu is the real Vinayak),
Vinu - His truth can be broken into two parts. One that he is adopted, something that is known to the Chavans, but not to Sai. The other one is concealed from everyone (P still on the suspect list).
Savi - On the other hand for Savi the only part that needs to be revealed to the Chavans is Savi being V's daughter.
So I feel it will be a stage-wise revelation of each truth, and not a complete revelation about Vinu. So it will be Vinu's adoption, followed by Savi's parentage and then finally Vinu's true identity as Sai-V's son.
For Sai to maintain her distance from V the MU has been built up on V-P relationship already, Vinu's adoption will only soften Sai to a certain extent where she will have a boundary with V as P's husband. This will be the first step towards each other in whatever small manner. V will cause damage more over the course, that is given for him to be be digging a deeper grave for himself.
This should be followed by Savi's parentage.
Why Savi's paternity revelation before Vinu's parentage?
Similar to Sai, they have brought in JM MU for V. So even if he melts over Savi's truth, he will still hold that grudge against Sai. And this anger towards Sai will also make him accuse her of keeping Savi away from him, which he wouldn't have otherwise, or would not hold on for long. So this connects them beyond Doctor and Patient's family relationship. Or else Sai would just leave.
Before leap we all had so many discussions around Sai not leaving CN as she will not leave her child and go. But today circumstances have changed. Now there is huge guilt that she is living with. And seeing how the dynamics have changed, she would not stake her claims on Vinu, unless she feels there is any danger to him. But she will see none. Only the love and bond of father-son
So how will Sai and Savi be stopped from leaving. It has to be Savi's truth.
Now coming to other aspects.
We know the shallowness of Chavans. Blood and male child is their fav rap song in that order. If Vinu's parentage is revealed before Savi, she will hold no importance, except for V. Even if it comes to stem cells, it will be as selfish as "Use and throw". They would be willing to let go off Savi than accept Sai. Thats how much they hate Sai. So for Savi to gain that stature in CN, it has to be her identity as the Chavan blood that needs to be revealed first.
Secondly, there is a very important point that needs to be addressed. The "Orphan" taunt. It is not just about the Chavans' regret. It is about Vinu understanding Sai's pain. I have spoken about how both kids are a good mix of their parents, however their surface character is more like the parent they have lived with, but the less displayed side is a reflection of the other parent. Vinu is like Sai. He seldom shares his pain, his feelings. He may be seemingly softer than Savi, but he is strong enough to not reveal his hurt like Sai. Both hold a lot inside them. Unlike Savi and V who are open books when it comes to emotions. Vinu and Savi have to become those confidantes for each other.
Vinu may favour Sai once he knows he is his mother. But for him to stand strong for her, against his own father, for name calling her as orphan, he has to understand her pain, share that pain. So before the Mother-Son bond, it has to be bond on this aspect. This will happen when Savi starts getting that acceptance and importance. Vinu's insecurity might kick in. Also, the negligence and favouritism from Chavans will make him more aware of his adopted status. P can manipulate, but she will never understand Vinu here. Sai is the only one who can fill the gap, and soothe his heart. This bond will only strengthen their relationship when he knows that Sai is his mother.
And Vinu will emerge stronger to stand for his mother against everyone when they accuse Sai and call her names. V-Sai may be major characters, but it has to be the kids who will really be the show stoppers. Vinu will so what V could not. Stand for his family, for his mother. And for that courage this is what is needed. Or else, at this point he is not that vocal to voice his opinions so strongly. He needs to understand and feel his mother's pain to make him stand up so strongly for her.
