Part 12..storm

Dev and vidhhi both were high in emotions. Vidhi couldn't believe the man who always cared about smallest things is hurling serious accusations at her , what's this new character assassination thing. He seems troubled angry at staff but never said anything other than office related things . Then why she has to suffer all his mood swings . She had enough she retaliated.

Dev couldn't believe his ears his vidhi can shout at him and for what for that stupid Rahul. He might have taught her all this ill mannered thing otherwise she can never misbehave with me. His jealously and anger grew more and more with each word vidhi spoke made him beast. He stood up from his chair and came near her , she stepped back she wasn't threatened like that before in her whole life . Everyone either loved her ignored her disliked her but never somebody tried to come close to her in threatening manner. She stepped back until she reached the wall and couldn't move further .

Dev said so what were you saying repeat you IDIOT! She fumbled sir leave please let me go. But couldn't utter her words properly he said what happened.

He lowered his head on her shoulder sniffed and said in very depressed voice why it can't be me ? She was so nervous that she pushed him without realising what he was saying her mind went into flight or fight response and to support himself he raised his hand to get support from wall but she thought he is going to slap her she hid her face with her hands. He saw it and just couldn't believe what had just happened he got all his senses back. He removed himself from the place and went afar from vidhi . Vidhi just ran away without even looking at her.

Dev was so so angry at himself that how can he hurt vidhi that she was afraid he might harm her physically it made him so sad that he wanted to punish himself. Even if vidhi likes someone else she has all the rights to do it and even marry the guy of her choice . She never promised him anything nor she cheatted on him he is being unfair to her. He felt suffocated and only thing that can make him feel better is to talk to vidhi but after today he can't face her. He won't.

He called yogesh and told him everything..

Vidhi was trembling in fear what just happened did dev tried to harass her he was sniffing her shoulder did it really happen? She wasn't sure what actually happened and what she felt and was it true or she took it otherwise? She felt he was going to slap her but for a split second when she was running out of his cabin she saw his face in mirror and it had sadness and guilt only. What vidhi what happened ??if he was so angry that he was going to slap you why his face will look like someone snatched something so precious from him.😳 His eyes looked gloomy not angry .💔 But he sniffed was he trying to harass me? She didn't had courage to speak this sentence in her mind also this man has been with her in many moments good bad whether she was alone or group, office or out of office and in this project they worked hard sometimes at night also and only two of them after Suresh Kumar got suspended but never she felt even uncomfortable or doubts didn't came to her mind then one fine day same guy her mentor her guide her silver lining turned into something nobody will believe. But when she herself can't believe how will she convince others to believe.

She took her belongings and came to her room locked it properly. Changed the dress into home wears and washed her face went to sleep she knew nothing would help other than sleep and she started stand up comedy video on her mobile 📱.

Part 13 not so delicate

Vidhi came early to her house also she was so troubled that she didn't informed anyone in the office about this but receptionist saw her. Rahul wanted to talk to her so called her but it was out of coverage area as dev broke her phone. He was worried she was no where to be seen in the office. Rahul could judge Dev has started hm behaving weirdly vidhi always told him about dev how he is thoroughly gentleman , takes care of her . She was fond of him. Rahul used to tease her too about all the affection she gets from dev but she always brushed it off that because she is too young he cares for her . Nothing else.

Actually Rahul is her college friend but he went for masters and she started working and Rahul had joined the same company as her for his last semester project. So they both knew each other well he didn't even told her that he was going to join Indore branch, he wanted to surprise her and called her in the restaurant. Where dev saw both of them together. they used to share their experiences about office and day to day life so they both were always updated about what was going on in other person's life. Rahul knew everyone from Suresh Kumar to Ria Vicky and especially dev sir. She was very fond of him and used to share all the small and big details about what happened what they talk how he cares for her and always motivated her. They are just good close friends. But she did not wanted any gossip around her so she didn't tell anyone and even they used to meet outside office or talk over call.

But when Rahul joined Indore branch he saw another dev who is always insulting her publicly , harsh to vidhi , didn't even care how his word affected her . She told him about what happened when they went on inspection so he knew something is going to happen. In lunch He came to her cabin to check on her but she wasn't there he asked but nobody knew so he decided he will go to her house.and when her phone was out of coverage area he got more worried.

Vidhi was sleeping when Rahul knocked the door, she opened the gate and asked him why he came here. She was in very bad mood didn't wanted to talk to anyone. But he can never leave his friend that too in such situation. He said okay don't talk but please let me be here for half an hour.

She said okay I am going to sleep

Rahul okay I am here if you need anything

Vidhi didn't say anything and went to her room

Rahul was sitting in hall.

Dev has also come back to his bunglow he wanted to stay away from vidhi. But when he was looking outside he saw Rahul going to her house.

Actually dev and vidhi and all other employees live in office's residential campus . Where everyone is allotted house accordingly to their post. Dev took the bunglow from where he can keep watch on vidhi's house. He liked her from the day he saw her. And he knew no male colleague came to her house alone. And if anyone came she kept gate and windows open. Than he could or anyone see what was going on. Even if somebody goes close to house could even listen the convo.

So he couldn't believe when Rahul went inside her house and locked the door. His doubts got stronger. No matter how much promises he made to himself that he will leave vidhi alone seeing her with Rahul made him vulnerable he said to himself okay I won't create any drama but I will be sure of their relationship status .

So he went to her house

Vidhi realised that Rahul has come to meet her and she is unnecessarily rude to him so she came back to hall and told him you know Rahul beauty is very weird thing it makes you powerful and powerless at the same time, people do talk about me but don't talk to me, they will hover around me but won't stand with me. In this office the girls I thought to be my friends keep gossiping about me why because they think I am more beautiful so I get everything easily and I don't deserve anything. Suresh sir said same thing that dev sir liks me and I am taking advantage of all this. In parties people do come to talk to me but if I am open and Frank with them they start flirting nobody actually want to be my friend and you won't believe what dev sir did today? And she started crying remembering how he came closed to her and threatened her made her feel so bad about herself that may be she gave him some hints. Rahul wanted to make her feel better so went near her to offer her a glass of water but slipped and fell upon her .

Dev opened the gate and he couldn't believe. She was lying on sofa and Rahul was over her.

He stood in disbelief and with the sound of glass slipping on floor his heart broke too. All those goody good image was just to show off and actually she wasn't any different. But this time he didn't get angry he got hurt badly hurt he looked at her for some minutes so she will explain what was going on but she didn't say anything and lowered her eyes

on the other hand rahul stood up hurriedly and said sorry sir it's nothing like that it's just. He saw at her one more time she still has her eyes lowered. He went away.

Rahul said to her why vidhi why didn't you say anything😔

Vidhi I don't owe him anything😔

Rahul vidhi but he is our boss . It might damage your reputation no one knows we are friends from college time🥱

Rahul didn't say anything he prepared dinner for her and made her feel a little better and then left .

Dev went to his house and was still standing on the window with an hope that vidhi will come to him and give explaination but she didn't say anything she didn't came even after all this Rahul didn't left her house he knew exactly after 2 hours and 20 minutes he left her house with a smile on his face and vidhi came out to wave him a good bye.

Vidhi entered her house and dev slides the curtains. It's over he said. And called Vicky told him some work and said vidhi broke her mobile please repair it and sent it to her home ASAP. Dev opened contacts and changed it from Delicacy to vidhi Mishra.

Dev you are a fool she fooled you she took your advantage she became one of the most important intern in the office due to your mentoring and look how she has turned out. The girl you had to put so much effort to listen what she was saying said a lot of things. May be that's why others don't like her. May be Riya and archana were right when they complained about her in party and kept taunting her. May be my love didn't let me see real vidhi she is just another beautiful selfish girl. Who gave importance to handsome and rich boys like Rahul earlier she didn't had option or maybe be when she saw you was giving her importance she left Vicky , that's what Vicky told him that she was very friendly with him but when you came she started ignoring us. May be Suresh Kumar too was impressed by her beauty she knows how to keep men hooked surely she is smart. And not naive and innocent what made her different.

Dev you were wrong this time girl played you really well. And today she couldn't even pretend to be holier than though she knew she was caught red handed. What she would have said

Part 14 our paths are different

Next day in office

Dev decided he will stop pursuing her, but first he will teach her a lesson and all those things he gifted her he will take back. He thought it's his favours that made vidhi looks promising intern. Interns after completing there 1 yr service period gets permanent but it depends on their assessment reports and most importantly comments written by their immediate boss. And assessment reports gets prepared at the end of every month and after checking all the reports company decide which intern deserves to be permanent employee. Vidhi always got good reports Suresh Kumar used to write final comments on her report and because she was working with dev he also used to write comments and mostly good . Although she was punctual and hardworking still she made some mistakes which never got importance because she was his favourite everyone knew. Dev will handle if someday she goof up meeting with clients dev used to take blame or sort it out without even telling vidhi. But she never did anything intentionally dev knew .

But now dev didn't wanted to handle anything on her behalf didn't wanted to see her face. Yesterday he was hurt because she didn't love him and today he was hurt because she isn't the person he fell in love with. She is just like every one else. The girls who used to drool over him because he is handsome rich and successful. Nobody cared if he is good human being or not. So is vidhi she didn't know Rahul properly but invited him at her home. And the reminiscences of yesterday came to his mind. He took some firm decision better fir himself he knew if he will see vidhi one more time even he don't know how he will react?

She came to the office. She thought she will apply for some days leave . She went to her cabin and took some papers to write application

Riya came and said hey are you stupid ?

Vidhi didn't understand why she was saying this

In the office every section has small board where section name and concerned employees name is written.

Riya took vidhi's bag from desk and kept it outside the cabin.

Vidhi got furious and she went there to take her bag back meanwhile peon came and handed her a letter

Letter was about new duties assigned to her she will now work with Dinesh and archana as their assistant and Riya will work as Dev's PA and now vidhi will prepare all the reports submit it to Dinesh and they will report to the boss.

Vidhi lookes at the sign board it now had Riya's name she was right.

Vidhi took her belongings and went to sangita (character same as in serial) see what happened

Sangita i don't know why everyone is so against you i can understand about this girls but dev sir he always cared about you

Vidhi went into Dinesh's cabin , archana was sitting there so she sat on the empty chair.

She said good morning archana

Dinesh came and started shouting what are you doing her who asked you to sit on the chair, I am not dev that you don't even forget office manners , what were you watching on phone. Archana started laughing at her.😵

When dev was with her nobody could raise their voice over her, even before dev ex VP and Suresh Kumar were always good to her , praised her so other than some indirect taunts nobody could actually say anything to her. She didn't know what has happened that everyone is insulting her without her any fault.

Vidhi left his cabin and went to the cafeteria where she got an video call from Rahul he asked her how she is and she told him what just happened he told that he got transfer orders with immediate effects and he has to join today only so he couldn't inform her. She knew dev did all this but she didnt say anything to Rahul. Rahul felt so bad that he was not with her so he started some conversations about their college and all the stupidity they did together and she laughed for the first time in the day.

On the other hand Dinesh went to Dev's cabin and complained about vidhi's attitude.

She is asking for personal cabin and desk she doesn't want to share it with archana also she said she won't take my orders she will work on her own she knows about projest more. Dev said see I know there are some iseues but i don't think she can say all this i am sure there is some communication gap.

Archana sorry to interrupt sir but she said all this and went to cafetaria saying she will work according to her schedule not diensh sir's.😵

Dev said okay this is first and last time i will be mediator . After today you have to solve all this on your own. He wanted to check their claims also he knew she was so responsible with her work he has seen her in all thi S6 months. How professional she is and polite also.😡

But when everything about her turned out to be fake then it also can be as she was with boss since she started working and first time she was working with junior employee.

He went to cafetaria and saw her sitting at the corner table. She was on video call and he could see Rahul on the other side when he came near her table he could hear her chatter and laughter it didn't look like she had any remorse. She didn't even have shame in her eyes otherwise any girl will feel a little ashamed in front of their boss when he caught her red handed.

Rahul saw dev and other staff over vc he said vidhi please go to work talk you later. She realised someone was standing behind her.

Dev looked at her . She lowered her eyes.

She didn't wanted to face not because of guilt but because he turned out to be man with no integrity . Dev thought she was guilty so she couldn't meet hus eyes since yesterday.

Dev said miss vidhi don't throw tantrums. Mr Dinesh is your immediate boss and one complain from him and you are out.

Anything else you want to say Vidhi didn't say anything. Dev said so miss archana it's your responsibility to be mediator between miss vidhi and Dinesh sir . She will report you and you will tell her all the task and compile it. Till this project gets completed after that we will see . We can change the arrangments but untill this project all of you has to work together.

After some time all went to work . Vidhi talked with hr but she was told she can not get leave untill the project is finished. There are strict orders from head office untill this project gets completed nobody from the team will get holiday.

Vidhi accepted her fate and came to Archana's cabin.

Presentation day was just a week away. All were working hard. Dinesh and archana too developed soft spot for vidhi . She was hardworking honest beautiful and innocent it wasn't tough for her to impress people . People do like her but they don't want her to get success or power over them . Whoever cshe works under them cared for her as they felt certain kind of positivity with her. She didn't speak much. But she was also easy to work with . She was inteeligent too. Slowly in this two weeks everything got better. Dev whenever came face to face with her avoided her be inconfrence or meetings or sudden encounter at office or outside. Vidhi too ignored him.

But he missed her how she was always there now for most of the works he stopped calling his PA . Riya tried to become his favourite too but dev didn't even look at her If he had some work he would mail her. He gave strict instructions to everyone to not come to his cabin until he asked them . They can send him their concern over mail. Only peon used to come to give files or tea or lunch . Hardly he called any of them.Riya hated vidhi how can she make place in everyone's heart . And she didn't even get the opportunity no over time no lunch no dinner no outside work related tour. Dev stopped involving any employee in work tour.

One final presentation was given at this weekend where whole team was present. Vidhi looked really beautiful dev so wanted to talk to her. But he loved her for her beautiful heart and she is not that he told himself one more time. Evryone was happy now Dinesh seems to care about vidhi when in lunch and tea break he asked two three times what vidhu wants to eat why she is not taking anything doesn't go unnoticed by him. He got jealous but he didn't wanted to make a scene. He thought now she has charmed this man also she is best at this playing damsel in distress and attracting men . Presentation went well all were happy. Now they decided if this went well dev will give all of them a party at the best resort of indore. Everyone was excited except vidhi.

Dev has decided he will leave indore after this project gets approved and will remove vidhi from his life. Our paths are different miss vidhi.Vidhi too has decided to go with the flow.

Presentation day

Whole team went to Head office for the presentation. Dev always helped his subordinates to prove their potential. He always took his whole team to presentation and gave their introduction to clients too. He never take credits but always said it's the team work. He did the same today.

Presentation went so well everyone was so happy. Clients organised party for the team and insisted that everyone should come.
