Who can pull-off Ramayana in today's Bollywood?

I watched Adipurush trailer an hour ago and I still cant register what I saw.🤓 The film is not only weak from VFX and aesthetic POV, but it also looks heavily miscast.

Prabhas looked very lame as Lord Ram. 😵 What a downfall from Bahubali series.

Kriti was half-decent, but she looks miscast in Sita's role.👎🏼

Laxman & Hanuman are very integral to Ramyana, but looks like they're portrayed by some weak actors too.😔

Saif's Ravana is the biggest joke of the century. His caricature-ish acting was so irritating.🤪

The question is, can any actor in today's Bollywood pull-off a Lord Ram, Hanuman or Laxman?

Thank God! Someone agreed that Sanon is miscast as Sita. She neither has grace nor acting chops. She can do PR PR only. Such a pathetic actress 🤮

Coming to the topic, Nitesh Tiwari is going to make Ramayan with Deepika as Sita, Ranbir as Ram & Hrithik as Ravan

I think Kriti was good in Mimi. But she does look miscast as Sita.

Deepika could've played Sita about 3-4 years ago, but now the audience's perception towards her has changed. And Ranbir as Lord Ram would just send this forum into a frenzy😆

and I am not sure ifHrithik could play a grand, negative character like Ravan.

Rather, Hrithik would look good as Lord Ram👍🏼.

Okay but I don't understand the hype about Mimi. She, as usual, was mediocre. Putting a pillow under dress doesn't make her a good actress 😂😂🤮. Imagine Sanya in the role, she would have lived the role. Her PR overhyped this useless movie.

I think RK can nail the role because he has that charm & is a good actor. Deepika atleast can fit the aesthetic.

I think looks-wise, Sidharth Malhotra might look good as Lord Ram on screen👍🏼 but he is a weak actor.

Most of them are bland.😵

Still, I would either choose Kiara (coz she's dating Sid) OR a completely new comer to play Sita. Too bad. Anushka Shetty doesn't works in Bollywood films, otherwise she is the perfect candidate for Sita.

Lord Hanuman would be very difficult to cast. We don't have anyone in the industry with the charisma of Dara Singh.

Still I think someone like Rana Daggubati or Sonu Sood could play Hanuman . They both are good as villains too, so either of them can play Ravan too.

Regarding actresses, you are extremely correct. I agree with the Kiara part. She would have been great in this film. Not only she can act better but also she looks more graceful than Sanon
