Shayad. But I doubt it ... his voice just never stood out me whereas SRK always had that baritone to it ... and you're right, it only got better with age.

So true lmao. He is terrible at it. I still remember his crying scenes in Kal Ho Na Ho, he looked he hadn't shit in a while and was having a hard time.

I hate SRK's voice especially in 90s films. His voice is weak and the eh eh trembling makes it worse. Bakri type voice.

For a lot of actors, their voice seems to be a weak link. SRK, Deepika, Kangana, Saif, Sridevi, even Aishwarya and Hrithik to an extent. In recent times, lack of diction seems to be another problem for the young gen actors.

Since 90s most actors have had really weak voices and zero command over language, no idea of voice modulation or pronunciation or diction.

And actresses have been useless since 70s in terms of voice.

Voice is MOST important part of making an actor effective and is prime reason why Amitabh is biggest of them all.

Yet people ignore working on voice.

Plenty of actors are fine to look at but become irritating the moment they open their mouths. Hema, Sri, Ash, Rani are examples among women and SRK, HR, Jeetendra are examples among men. Jeetu used to struggle a lot while speaking normally and Mithun too had weak voice modulation in younger years. Saif was weak till mid 2000s but changed since 2006 and improved.

Aamir was also ineffective till 2001. His voice and dialogue delivery improved only later.

Salman was okay earlier. IDK what happened to him post HDDCS. He has improved only after Dabangg. I hated his way of speaking in films like Maine pyar kyu kiya.

Akshay also has irritating voice and poor pronunciation if words. For eg he pronounces the word 'chahiye' as 'chiye'.
