And who can blame her! After the raw deal meted out to her by the Balaji camp, Gautami's playing her cards close to heart. Ekta's very fond of Gautami...she, probably sees her as her lady in shining armor.

Gautami did come to Ekta's Kyunki rescue after Smriti decided to part ways with the production house. And Ekta wanted to compensate for the raw deal that she probably felt Gautami had been meted out with Smriti's return! Our lady does have a generous heart, now, doesn't she!
