I dunno why people in BW write memoirs when they fail to address anything and just make it a struggle/sob story where they are the victim sitting in their million dollar houses. Honesty is clearly not their policy.

Chopras were part of RSS during time of Yash and BR Chopra. They are no less well connected, powerful and rich.

Just because they do not remain in media glare like Bachchans who flaunted their relation with Nehru-Gandhi family, Ambanis, Roys of Sahara, British MP Keith Vaz, Thackerays, Amar Singh, Yadavs of SP etc., it does not mean Chopras have no connections to powerful lot in India and abroad. Yash Chopra got honoured by British and Swiss govts.

The lot who single handedly made careers of many superstars can never be said to have any less connections than Bachchans.

I stand by my statement that Chopras are more powerful than Bachchans who will be losing much of their status once senior Bachchan couple is gone. In the long run they will be forgotten like Dev Anand's family despite success and political links of Anand brothers.

Whereas YRF is not gonna end up like a forgotten banner anytime soon. Chopras have way better business sense than once bankrupt Bachchans whose AB Corp has still not taken off and made nothing much after Paa.

Rani is called Malkin at YRF. So much for being shown her place.

Nobody is gonna run after Bachchans over past glories of sr Bs or Ash's decade old global achievements for being a beauty, all the time in near future. Bachchan brand is highly overrated which was proven after damp response to Sarkar Raj, their personal fallouts and Bachchans no longer even being together in ads unlike Abhishek and Ash doing Lux and Prestige ads together in past.

It will be a surprise if Aaradhya is even allowed to be in films in future.

Rani was not shown her place. She moved to bigger place after a few years.

Both Salman and Aishwarya tbh. I remember when Meghan Markle went on Oprah a lot of people on SM were saying how Aishwarya could be India’s Markle. A tell all with Simi in an explosive interview. Bachchans would have a meltdown.

Bleh. Markle is too vocal, courageous and outspoken. Harry is also bolder. Unlike Ash who hardly speaks and did not even speak much on Salman issue and Abhishek who is a mamma papa's raja beta.

Calling Ash as India's Markle is a misplaced comparison.

Too meek, silent and cowardly to speak on Bachchans.

She could not even speak on industry blacklisting her after Salman incident. Atleast Kangana had guts to expose industry's bias against outsiders.

True that. I think it's just another self-promotion tactic at this point, without providing anything meaningful or interesting for the readers. Priyanka's "Unfinished" also comes to mind. There is just no authenticity whatsoever!

That is true. Chopra are way way more powerful. Bachchans will lose all their power once Sr is gone. I doubt anyone even in the industry even cares about that family anymore. AB jr on his own has zero clout on his own. Also most people on the list you mentioned except Ambanis are now irrelevant themselves. Jaya herself has been reduced to an irrelevant nobody who shows up drunk in the parliament ( according to the grapevine ) and rants at everything and people just let her be. She’s irrelevant to SP too now.

There used to be gossip threads here long back. I was an active member then. Some of the spiciest gossip. Wonder what happened to the forum.
