Sneha enacts Amba's character quite well. I'd even say I have a mild element of sympathy for her character- her words to Vidhi both at the Jagrata and at the handkerchief scene had depth.
I hope they don't make her negative, but they most definitely will- it becomes easier for the fans to root against her c h a r a c t e r.
One thing that beats me- if Amba wanted, she could very well have made her marriage to Dev a condition for Chitra's marriage in her house, and Dev would've probably agreed for it. Why didn't she do it then?
Yup the actress is playing Amba's character really well❤️ I may not like Amba's character much but no complaints about the actress. Moreover she has really good screen presence. When she is onscreen she just owns it❤️
I do feel bad for her sometimes but looks like she brought it upon herself. She really didn't have to wait for Dev. She is beautiful, smart, successful, she could have married any good person and been happy

But I guess she wanted Dev to agree on his own and not make this a majboori for him. Moreover she likes to maintain a goody goody image. Like she dealt with Priya and behaves really nicely with Satyavati. If she had kept that condition voh image na hoti. Raichands may not have accepted her happily.
Also just what I feel, for all his softness, I don't think that Dev is that weak. He wouldn't have agreed to such a condition. He would have probably reasoned that the people who are keeping such conditions in the beginning itself, may demand a lot of things later and Chitra may not be happy in such house.
He usually maintains a calm demeanor, doesn't raise his voice as he doesn't want to hurt anyone, but when pushed to his limits he lashes out and puts everyone in their place.
