A lot of the power of positive thinking comes from the subtle changes in behavior it brings about.

For ex, you tell yourself you WILL get that promotion. You already work hard. You're smart. BUT... once your mind starts feeling you're in for good things, your body language starts reflecting it. People do respond to it. Your bosses notice your confidence. They take a 2nd look at your work. That promotion might just be yours.

It's not magic. Just your own self causing responses in your environment.

Do you have any idea what the member even meant 🤔? Am still trying to decipher it. Don't use Hindu terms because you're mocking, but don't use Muslim phrases either because you're woke?

I don’t. Does anyone? I blocked her nonsense months ago. But sounds like there’s a glitch in the system. So I reacted to her nonsense with mine.

The placebo effect in a lot of medicine research is the biggest proof of the law of attraction at work in the book written by the Indian. How a group is tricked into thinking they have a medicine that will cure some sickness when it is really not the right medicine. But because they have been told it will cure their sickness it goes to their brain and thus the rest of the body. So many times in science experiments even the placebo participants come out healed of a sickness because their mind told the rest of their body the cure is in place.

Again I would never live a life where I rely totally on this law. Nor am I completely convinced. But your post reminded me of other arguments I had read in the book gives to 5 years ago. I just can’t think of the name. 🤦‍♀️

No I don't believe my simply manifesting you can attract things. I have always believed that if you want something you got to work for it. What exactly is manifest is it like praying to universe instead of praying to god?

It is not magic or prayer as someone mentioned. It is the power of positive thinking. If you believe something can happen you will probably think it is worthwhile working harder at it. A person with a negative attitude might give up at the first sign of defeat. While a person with a positive attitude might keep on trying.

It is the differences in approach of a positive attitude person and a negative attitude person. With a little bit of science thrown in like how brain convinced your body of things (placebo affect) and you react differently towards things in your environment.

But don’t rely on this idea in life. It is a very dangerous one.

That sounds complicated! thanks for explaining.

Anyway manifestation is the vibe these days, everyone keeps talking about it.

Also in the end isn't it all about what you want and how hard you are willing to go for it. Yes of course attitude counts, but you wont be starting something you don't feel positive about or good about it.

2. Trust me. 90% of what you say is incomprehensible.😆

3. With re: religion.

I discuss Mahabharat as HISTORY. Want to discuss Mary as HISTORY? I'm willing when I know the other person is doing so in good faith. And by faith, I don't mean religious faith 😆. And you're not acting in good faith. Nor was your friend, the MID bully.

When the cow lifts its tail, you kinda know what's coming out. I kinda knew what to expect from the MID's posts. Yours too. So I refused to discuss.

(Edited to add: or ANY animal lifts its tail. Just in case 😆)

Unless you want to claim Mahabharat is ONLY religion and not history, I will continue to discuss. Because buddy, it's INDIAN history. Which means the history of MY ancestors. And no ignoramus on IF is going to stop me. You don't have a copyright on Mahabharat. You definitely don't have a moral right to ban others from it.

And against my better judgment, I responded to one of your nonsense posts🤦‍♀️. No more. Have a good night.

I don’t know how you do it. But props to you for your patience.

There is NO North vs South here. Nor religion. Shame on you for trolling every thread and dragging religion everywhere. Picking personal fights with members you do not like even in unrelated topics.

There is nothing on religion here. The kesariya dig is a dig at Alia Bhatt and Brahmastra film. Stop playing victim everywhere hijacking all threads and getting them locked by derailing them. Leave us alone.

Thank you! Dragging religion into every thread. What a pain.
