Today episode was high point when Dev realises Vidhi is in infatuation with him...

He seemed so troubled... Now I wonder how dev will handle this... He's so strict regarding humsafar that he didn't even answer vidhi question that's unfair Vidhi ne Jawaab diya but when it came to his turn he refused... I guess he has stopped even letting his heart think regarding that even once

Might be reading too much into it, but was Dev's line about confidence/education to Vidhi an indicator about his background and a potentially mysterious past?

That line will generally be spoken by folks who have experienced it personally, and is therefore more likely to be used by someone who came from a middle class background rather than one born with a silver spoon.

possible very much... but instead of mysterious past i'd say painful struggling past.. as 15 years old kid in business he must had tough time.. so may be he wants her to learn things better way as he did...

troubled.. absolutely...

till now he was worried abt his unsorted feelings for her but abhi he had extra responsibility of figuring out of what she feels for him... and if what he thinks is right then he will be on fence to decide to let her feel that way and be in love with her or force her to come out of this infatuation cause age gap gonna be villain for them and he doesnt want her to get hurt cause of it...

he will hard time deciding what to do...

Uska phone ghir na when she mentions rishta, saying “joh bhi hain” to rishta, Yogesh-kanika saying he never gets this into an employee or has coffee with them, his concern for her, being comfortable in her presence, asking her personal questions and not keeping it strictly work related, saying no personal discussions at work but asking her a personal question by calling her in his office..

Agree completely!! He definitely feels something. I can't say if he realises he loves her but she is definitely special for him.

Yogesh Kanika too pointed out he has never been like this with an employee. I can't imagine Dev being like this with Anaya or some other female😆 and there wasn't even any hesitance or irritation from his side when she mentioned coffee like thinking I can't be like this with an employee. Though he is strictly formal with her when people are around.

Another thing is He is quite protective about his family and likes to keep his professional and personal life separate. Initially when Vidhi talked about his family he burst out like anything. But when he went to meet Pratap uncle Dev himself suggested that we will all meet at Vidhi's house like a family picnic or something. He really didn't have to, he could have just invited Pratap Uncle and Neeli aunty to his home but wanted Vidhi and her family in that group. And today too he was easily talking about his family to Vidhi.

I think from their baal ghar and Pratap uncle connection things started to get personal for him. She was no more just an employee for him

But he can't be expected to express himself like Vidhi does. Honestly I find her behaviour a bit ott even if I consider her to be a 21 year old. Moreover things are lot more complicated from his side

Rewatched today's episode all i have to say...

everything happened on Date was Beautiful Beyond words... Dev's so many closeups, so many expressions, reactions, emotions...

phone ka girna, dev apprehension for every question he asked and last me Vidhi ne kaha yoi dint reply but its okay.. whole progression after that Dev trying to avoid eye contact, then looking at her being sad and those tiny eye locks.... and car drive till screech n stopping car... Dev ka finally confirmation ke he figured out Vidhi.

mujhe to goosebumps aaye jitni baar dekha...... aaj ka episode abhi tak ka best....

ill add what i ovsereved.. he thinks her as a Dear friend, a confidant with whom he has so many things in common. And we find such friends with common likings and people we tend to gravitate towards them cause they become our Happy Place (irrespective of feelings platonic or romantic alike). Their company makes us feel relaxed, happy, unjudged... we can be anything or even nothing with them cause they are with us not for what we have but what we are....

and thats what Dev has Vidhi... her innocence being the catalyst for him.to gravitate towards her but then all her other qualities turns her a into The Sun to which Dev looks at unknowingly like a Sunflower... he cant put in words cause he cant he just flows with her innocence yet profound talks.

So i feel it wasnt love at start but admiring, then turned into confidant cum friend and now he thinks its more than that.
