No no, she deserves it much more than Hema, Sri and Madhuri. She is from black and white era and had great contribution to Indian cinema. She had been an inspiration to actresses younger than her. Reena Roy used to copy her a lot in her beginning movies which she herself said in a video interview.

Reena herself is no great. Being from B and W era makes no one great. Asha was known only for dance skills. Not acting. She became hit due to musicals she acted in.

Vythanthimala, Nutan, Devika Rani, Waheeda Rehman, Nargis etc are far more iconic and deserving than her.

Leave the Reena thing, Asha is great at acting and well supported by the public. She had a successful career in Bollywood and did meaningful roles. Almost all actors including character actors belonging to black and white era had great acting skills.
