I am not offending anyone but why do some of the female contestants wears salwar suit on audition why can’t they audition in jeans-shirts like they usually wear later on they can wear the dress that goes on theme. I have seen her instragram and YouTube videos of singing she doesn’t wears suits all the time.

It depends upon what image channel wants to give that particular contestant. This clip is from last year when Bidipta auditioned for SRGMP. You can see how she is dressed. You will notice she is using Main instead of Hum. Now for Indian Idol she is gharelu sanskari girl.😆
