Katrina was THE female actress back then. When she debuted, no one really thought she would be more than a flower pot in her career. After all, other beautiful actresses had come and gone. Salman Khan backed her a lot back then, but he wasn’t ever a master of choosing good scripts. It was larger than life drama. That was the age of male superstars, not character actors. But Kat held her own illustrious space in Bollywood.

She didn’t even improve much in the acting department, but she, undeniably, was a star based on her stunning beauty and graceful moves. I remember people saying that she’s one of the few actresses that keeps an item song from becoming vulgar. Katrina was a sensation onscreen 🔥

But this is the age of Alia Bhatt. We can’t discredit her completely, just because Kjo helps her career. She has proved her mettle in various movies, even becoming successful in OTT. Alia is experimental and shines in character oriented movies. If she features in a movie, audience has some reassurance that it won’t be a drag fest because she has given less flops than others.

To answer your question strictly, I would say Katrina had the best peak so far. But I am intrigued to see where Alia’s career goes from here.

No it did not..these are basic facts..manikarnika made 90cr and Gangu made 130cr..facts are facts..nothing against the rest you wrote..

But the fact that alia's peak is in a year when she is not only married but also pregnant compared to kat and deepika who were unmarried then..gives a reassurance that actresses can be number 1 without marriage and kids getting their way much like their male co-stars..it is refreshing to see this much needed change nonetheless

KJo and salman cannot be compared, KJo has done a lot more for Alia and really shaped up her career

deepika because she combines both acting with star power (the other two dont combine both ) and did really varied roles from cocktail to piku to slb movies to chennai express

especially something realistic like piku and a total song and dance spectacle like ram leela and a masala comedy like chennai express

to stand up to srk in a comedy in no joke 😆
