Brahmastra os a movie with two-star kids in lead. Directed by star kid and produced by star kids. It still performed very well on the box. That proofs that the general cinema-going audience does not care about nepotism

So that ends the nepotism debate. Simple

Exactly...Nepo kids koot koot kar bhare hue hain Br mein...😆..it had the 2 most trolled people for nepotism...Alia and KJo...and yet people flocked the theaters to watch the movie.....Kjo was like ...give me ur money and the audience did just that...🤣.it was ek teer se doh shikaar...Nepo debate finished....and Baicatt BW gang has been royally dismantled....

People went to watch Ranalia after their marriage and pregnancy hype. Kinda like success of Guru after marriage of AbhiAsh was announced.

Nepo debate is BS. If film is fine or there is enough hype people will see it.

Brahmastra finished beef debate too. Big beef guy and son of beef eater gave a hit.

All spam on linking Kapoors and Bhatts to Dawood failed.

Audience does not bother if you met Dawood or ate beef. They want entertainment.

Accept It or Ignore It but #Brahmastra is a big success in terms of footfalls and collections it is garnering from all pockets across the world. It has become the highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide. The collections are verified by most distributors and National Plex chains CEOs on record.

Boycott is a myth. Some people have taken advantage of this fad and tried to sell their views/hatred and videos on social media just to make monetary gains or attention that suits their agenda.

Yes, Audience pocket size is hit post covid, consumer behaviour has also changed but that would not limit the audience to watch HATKE films that offers them surreal experience. Public is saving bucks for medium budget or regular films be it good or bad since the ticket prices have skyrocketed to an all-time level.

Public would certainly come back to their regular weekend movie-going habit if the ticket prices are reduced to 150-200 in North India same like South India.

National Cinema Day having tickets capped at Rs.75 advocated the same when even small films like Chup, Dhoka Round D Corner got good footfalls.

There is another factor beside neop kids is the screenplay based on mythology. This movie tried to do something different fantasy story steeped in mythology. I watched this movie for me the biggest let down were the dialogues and loose screenplay.

So yes audience went to see this movie because it was giving them something different to watch, not the typical BW stories.

Maybe for me actors/actresses comes last, I will see if the movie is offering me some different story to watch.
