The issue with Rito was they didn’t let him sing a known song. Bother times he sang his own composition and the theater round looked very abrupt. He seemed like he wanted to sing a proper song and not just his own composition. He deserved to be heard properly.

otherwise the top 15 are all good. Difficult but Good choice for top 15. Personally I like Shivam and Rishi at this point in time.

I think wadali is able to sing contemporary and he may show that part of him in the upcoming weeks even though he said he has given up contemporary singing.
I still don’t think it is fair to have Vineet there especially because he is very close to HR who has given him many songs. He is will get some unfair judgment in his favor and he still doesn’t come across as humble. Will have to see his camaraderie with other contestants.

PS: cameraman found a new muse. The camera was focusing on one pretty girl in the audience in green 😃

Salient Points from Final Day of Audition;
1. For me it is absolutely sacrilegious for anyone (especially, male) to try and sing 'Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi'. PERIOD!

2. Sonakshi is technically very good but is sounding tinny to me. Would like to hear more from her.

3. I refrain from commenting on the on the performance of seasoned singers like Vineet. They should never be allowed to compete against youngsters who are trying to find a footing. To an extent the same goes for Senjuti (although she was not as successful).

4. Talking of Senjuti. I like her voice texture and skills. But she will have unfair advantage with TCT. She has been part of TCT (in the background) for some years now. I have a feeling that she will last the journey if she can build a fan base.

5. Kavya seems to Sony's SMP Version II choice for the season sans the overhype.

6. Shagun by the same token is Ashish Version II. I expect he will soon start stomping the stage of IL13. Sweet voice which sounds melodious.

7. The rest I will skip. No interest.

Vineet used to be my fav in that season of srgmp , also in the other 2 reality shows. His Kaho na kaho, is pyaar ko etc were outstanding. Even then he had this cocky attitude , like Rahul vaidya. Still, I loved hearing them.

That being said, I do feel it is not fair to the other contestants to allow Vineet to compete, given his age, exposure, body of work etc - though his career didn’t take off.
I am curious to know the guidelines for participation - vineet has quite some Bollywood playbacks in his kitty, doesn’t that make him a professional? I remember Revanth of Idol 9. He was already an established singer in his state, had sung for Bahubali etc. He was the winner of Idol 9. But that time he didn’t have Bollywood exposure, unlike Vineet.

So, what is the criteria here??

I never thought they will select someone 30+ in Indian Idol but they proved me wrong with Vineet.

About Neha, anything is possible with TCT/Sony.😆

And if not Neha, they can Rohanpreet as contestant and you can imagine how cringe that season could be.🤣

Regarding Sanchari I am curious to know if this style she is following for a long time (like SMP) or developed it recently.

I think this style is "prepared for Idol" style.
She did nothing like this in her Bengali show. That show was a disaster in terms of audience popularity. Her winning it meant nothing outside of 'Star' parvivar.

Even I thought of Ankush, when I listened to Tabish, but yes, Ankush is better than Tabish.
And I think, they will give out the top 14 & then scream there is a surprise & add another making it top 15. So methinks Tabish will score. 😁

Last three seasons mein se Ankush was one of the most deserving candidates. I toh love his voice as much as I love Nihal's.

Even i was wondering about age limits knowing Vinit is 33

I thought age limit was 30

But then tct has magic potion which makes you younger than your actual age
