Lastly, Imlie's story deserved catharsis and not the trauma pôrn that it vindictively turned out to be.

So cannot really care for the leap.

See I would settle for them both being the leads cause they have so much potential but they're going the cliched root and I'm so sad

What i can say rn is both channel and gul never realised what they had in arylie in time.

Scrapping of Prem disha track was the biggest bummer, show ran on autopilot without any direction and we know what followed.

It's too soon to comment on the fate of leap, we will see.

agree with deltablues -- cheeni as lead would have been actually interesting and brought the whole nurture vs nature debate. the story sketch you presented brought that out that angle in such interesting ways. I also liked how there are two MLs with different dynamics -- so much more interesting than the triangle trope

That may be true but we haven't given up on your or your immense talent so you post anything based on the first season and we're here for it!

I truly loved and enjoyed this. If they had gone with something similar then the leap would have made sense. But of course they just want to re-write the same thing again but with a not so village belle in Imlie Jr. Of course it does not help that she is a complete air head unlike her mother and father.

Whatever what's done is done. I am no longer interested in this story..

I know right! I legit started watching the show when he came around!

I was so happy when Malini found out the truth and initially wanted to fight for Imlie and Meethi's rights! I was like this is beautiful, she's not turning into an ITV vamp and the show features two powerful women who can coexist and support each other - guys cant break female bonds etc. I saw Kunal and his chemistry with Malini was great.

I knew Anu would try to poison Malini and sprout insecurities, it's only natural but I wanted her to be stronger than that. Atleast strong enough not to do kaands like drug someone to sleep with them but NOPE - they had to go downhill.

I'm glad that Kunal's morality and strength as a character wasn't lost - he saw what Malini was doing, confronted her, but didn't let himself be dragged in the mess.
