btw if any of you have ever witnessed any such wedding in real life in which a random person marries the bride to save her from badnaami since the original groom was unavailable owing to some reasons ??? just curious..

I am not from India or Pakistan. So can't tell. But during my entire life : 50 yrs I never witnessed or heard of something like that happening in my country, although there were quite few weddings got cancelled at the last moment. 😆

I don't know .. if the hero doesn't come, or if his family asked for jahez and didn't want to continue with the marriage so why the badnami? It is not the girl's fault.😒
