Ayesha is looking at Basit as if imploring him to understand her, more like pleading and holding onto him. Basit on the other hand looks away and seems disconnected.

Also this time Ayesha wants to make eye contact whereas Basit doesn’t.

pata nahi kyu, while all these posters are aesthetically beautiful, they always make me feel ki only Ayesha is “reaching out” to Basit, he seems to either sometimes look at her, or in the process of looking at her, or looking away…but never has his hand over hers. This bothers me a lot, ngl.

EXACTLY THIS!! All of the posters are like this. Even the one he smiles in , he doesn’t look at her or he doesn’t hold her hand.

How many posters will we get like this? Also, I hope we don’t get only one poster of both of them looking into each others eyes and smiling, Indifference ke itne saare aur Milan ka Ek is very very unequal relationship. Then the story is not of Basit and Ayesha or even of just Basit, the story Will become of how Ayesha made Basit love. And that I am tired of as a concept.

This weekend I watched Sita Ramam, the movie has become a huge hit in India through word of mouth, I wanted to see what the hype was, even though I don’t speak or understand the language.

and can I add, the hype is worth it!! It’s a love story for the ages, just beautifully portrayed where the man and woman are willing to move mountains to be with each other, a relationship so pure and importantly equal in every way.

PS sorry didn’t mean to discuss another movie but wanted to say we want to watch movies/shows where in the name of real emotions, romance is not killed.

The difference here is that we don't know how ayesha feels for basit after these many episodes . We r clueless if she loves him, respects him , or she is on the fence, basically what she exactly she feels for him .

Kashaf used to tell us everything through her diary entry..we know clearly the trajectory of their relationship post marriage ..

I am.more clear on what basit feels for her than the other way round...he respects her for certain things which he stated clearly to fahad .

Btw just saying that film has one of my favourite actors! DQ. and i have felt this for a while now that DQ and Feroze look sort of similar 🤪
