I think what he meant to say is that with franchise films, the first one usually takes a loss. A lot of the production and marketing budget for the franchise gets front-loaded onto the first one. While the sequels tend to have lower costs and higher grosses. I guess we should cut him some slack, he barely finished school. 😆

Yes budget is around 400cr as reported by BOI. Yes they got non theatrical revenue to make it a hit for the makers and also for distributors it will be win if they released in on a commission basis.

I can believe everything but not that the VFX is SO cheap . Those special effects alone should cost millions.
