I concur with this. Comments under the video are all so positive, I assume maybe people were possibly given some sort of incentive to trend it? Or might just be bots. Twitter is raging over this since morning, and that's kinda just getting them more free publicity

This is a very dirty trick played by T- series. Song hit hua toh success nahi hua toh log Jake orginal dekhenge which will raise its views to millions.

Where is the artist credibility in all this, unka sirf paisa chahiye chahe apni hi creation ko ruin karke mile.

And the song I watched with lots of spite... Kya concept tha lol boss babes! It's the most overrated trending concept.

Maine Payal Hai Chhankai was owned by Universal Distribution, which is a subsidiary of Universal Music India Pvt. Ltd. as far as I know. It is a complete different entity from T-Series India. The artists contracts are most of the times drawn in a way where they get profit-sharing or a % of initial profits on their original song, but beyond the copyright years, they don't have any right to their own creations anymore. Think the same might be applicable for Falguni Pathak. My former classmate's aunt used to sing in small-time regional movies in the early 2000s, unke case mein bhi aise hi tha.

Neha did a Mile Ho Tum Humko Reprise which was actually soulful, so it is not like she could not have sung this properly if she was given the instructions to do so. Add to that the concept and lyrics for both the O Sajna and Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi videos, which are also sooooo *BLEH* and so out of the scope of the OG Maine Payal Hai Chhankai and Chudi videos, that it defeats the entire purpose of even doing a remake.

Pehli baat toh remake karo hi mat aise gaano ka, and agar kia bhi toh ek basic standard toh rakho.

Like WTAF, why does a song about an innocent crush have to become a song about giving a lesson to a two-timer? Even when bands make covers on such songs, they keep the respect of the OG artist. This is a SLAP to the face of a Falguni Pathak fan who adored her music when growing up, and is then forced to see celebs and even people they know dance to this version in the name of reels.

Comments, views, likes, shares, everything can be manufactured in today's time and that is such a disgraceful tactic.

Just want to end by saying, my day is sacchi RUINED with this 🥺🥺🥺
