Yes, a movie with flaws can absolutely be entertaining...and apart from stunning VFX, very good bgm, good songs, SRK's impactful cameo and a big starcast there were nevertheless some interesting things in the plot (that even kept me involved at the 2nd viewing).

So, I really wish that people would like to watch this movie in a theatre, also elders...and make this movie an event (after a very looooong time for some/many) named "the family goes to the cinema". This already may be entertainment 😉

The Internet and the real world are two extremely different entities.

Brahmastra is the biggest proof of that. Members in this forum thought that movie is going to not collect more than 70 cr nett

There are many who did not even recognize Deepika. Didn't care about her presence in the movie. Who enjoyed the movie for what it was

I have heard both positive and negative reviews about the film. So no the verdict is not unanimous. The only opinion that everyone seems to agree with is that some dialogues were childish

At least we agree on one point that the real world and internet are two different things.

I never mentioned that everyone is gonna have the same opinion as people in my circle who has watched the movie. films are very subjective tbh and in the recent times there has rarely been a film which was unanimously loved by audience (internet or real world)

Having said that, I am glad to see Ayan positively accepting the criticism and agreeing to work on the weaker links for the next part. Good on him coz not many directors would appreciate audience's feedback. I really hoped he had focused more on the mythological aspect rather than love story which didnt make sense with the way it was portrayed. Anyways, I am still excited for the next part regardless of who is casted for what roles.

If it jumps on the weekends, then it really is a release period issue. YJHD/Sanju were summer vacations and all the other big collectors are Diwali/Christmas holiday period. Weekdays are boosted. Eid releases don't hold as well on weekdays either. They should have had a bit more confidence in themselves and gone for Diwali.

it’s basically trending like Endgame. But even they don’t jump on second Friday like that. This is the first time it has happened.
