Ridiculous bit of story telling.

Cheeni was so much in love with Imlie to extent where she is searching for Imlie and assume Imlie is trying to help her small kid too..still Cheeni was shown to be very mature and intelligent... just to force some vampgiri, they first butchered Malini and now some new entrant. This is not the way story telling exists or made unless they take channels for granted.

Or channels themselves get over confident. Why also show continuity...

Why could not they make a progessive Imlie this time who for a change is more ruthless then Cheeni and it is Cheeni who keeps supporting guiding Imlie on various issues.. As anyways they have shown Imlie+Aryan both impulsive, so somewhere story telling right at outset is haywire.

After watching the clearer version, it does seem like this promo is more symbolic about Imlie introducing her two daughters to the audience. The way Imlie2 in the end goes, "Maa ne humare liye itni duaaein sahej ke rakhi hain" seems more metaphorical than literal.

I also LOL'ed Imlie1 calling Imlie 2 IMALIYA😆.....Honestly waise itna jarring nahin lag raha transition from one Imlie to the next.....the lack of three dots and village lingo helps in seeing her as new seedhi-saadhi Imlie who is the opposite of brattish tomboyish Imlie1😆

Oh and leap is starting from Monday as per this promo. So looks like Saturday epi will all go in bomb blast drama only

The promo is more symbolic, I guess. Imlie of course doesn't know how her daughters are going to be like. It is a representation of the two facets of Imlie (sweet and bitter) and signifying to the audience of the transition to the new gen.

+1 to this....well said, Amri. I also feel this is what the intent of the promo was. It's symbolic and was just meant to introduce the two facets of the girls to the audience.

Imlie2 will be the polar opposite of her mother's loud personality looks like😆. I know you were mentioning that Megha's previous roles were very strong/spunky types....maybe she is trying to play something opposite this time as "seedhi saadhi" Imlie😆

Aryan only spent a few months with Cheeni so that's not going to be enough to overcome her strong Chaturvedi genetics that she gets from Malini😆.

Cheeni has the typical Chaturvedi insecure genes - emotional overdependency on one person and then blaming that person if they don't give you undivided attention😆.

Apni limit bhool jaana is also a classic Chaturvedi characteristic....all in all she is Malini's daughter through and through.....Imlie's half-baked upbringing of 5 years couldn't do much to change that.
