didnt they kinda give it away in this part itself that Amrita is Deepika. As much as people like it or not, she definitely has the stature to carry such mythological characters and can act decent too. I know forum wale dont think so but doesnt matter coz general audience dont care about our opinions and genuinely like to watch her onscreen. As far as Dev is concerned, I have a feeling it might be RK but then someone made a good point that if thats true then Mouni and Big B's character should have reacted when they saw Shiva.

Rana Dagubbati would be a good choice for sure but doubt Ayaan or KJo would go out of their camp to cast this character so lets wait and watch!

I rather see Ranbir-Deepika than Ranveer- deepika, the later has been type casted in historical/warriors roles so much that we won’t get anything new, on the other hand Ranbir-deepika would bring freshness to the characters.

Bless Anupama for confirming what I already knew😆 waiting for an official announcement now. People underestimate the value that Ranveer would add to the franchise. It’s the first time that him and RK will share screen space the hype would be massive, people would flock to the theatres just to see that happen. And I’m glad that they’re both secure actors and not egotistical like the Khans who didn’t cash on their massive stardom back then and worked together in one movie because of their egos. I’m excited to see it and they’re many more who want the same. And I think Dharma knows that too.It’s been too long since Bollywood had a casting coup this big so bring it on I say. Just change the dialogue writer this time.

Pre-pandemic Himesh wrote an article on PV that Ayan approached DP and RS to play RK's parents in Brahmastra. The article was taken down pretty quickly but Himesh has really good sources in Dharma so his news about Dharma films are most of the time very accurate. So yeah, RS and DP being part of Brahmastra is not a new rumour. The DP part is confirmed but we have to see if RS indeed is part of the project.

Himesh seem to be pretty sure another actor will play Dev's role. Even in this article published this June he says so without revealing the actor who will play the part.

Personally I don't want RS to do it as he has already done antagonist role in Padmaavat and Ayan takes too much time.

if the negative character is like darth vader then no way ranbir will give such a powerful character to RS, given that shiva was so wishy washy

he will play it, or give it to some secondary actor either from south or in hindi who is not competition
