Zoya stopped objecting herself to the wedding plans with this older man and did not include her sisters in her plan. Bano did object and that too in front of Zoya. Which is actually more than we saw Zoya sticking up for Bano, the one who sacrificed so much.. Bano reaches out to Ayesha who has no clue what is going on at home, but who is willing to also do or say something for her sister. Though Zoya acts like she has accepted to get married and enjoys all the gifts. Bano did say she does not have it in her to look Zoya in the eyes.

There is a difference for me in how Zoya was brought up being the youngest. I feel she was the one spoilt rotten in terms of attention, and knowing that she should speak up to get what she wants and fight for herself. Fight for herself, not for others. Why should I fight for them if they don't fight for themselves?

I know it is not fair what I am going to say now.. Because the intensity of love does not hold a timeline. But I don't think I see Talal and Bano in the same way like I see Amir and Zoya. Bano kept quiet for years and didn't go against her mom. Talal was patient for years. And here are these youngsters, did not graduate, no job nothing. Bano did not say yes to someone else to get married too. No other commitments. I think that makes the shame for Qudsia even bigger. And... Also all the jewellery being gone, Qudsia is now in bigger debts.

The oldest did see Zoya's pain.. And did want for her sister to end up with her love.. But Amir showed his colors at home.. That is what the sisters have seen. And now you runaway without also telling your sisters? Why would she then expect support? By the way, while Zoya is dancing at her wedding with half heart, who gets the blame? Bano.. Also not really fair right?

The middle one, she is so righteous.. So busy with being the good fair honest kid. Not living at home anymore, and calling Zoya out on her behavior (the money she stole) does not make Ayesha the best person to turn to as well.

Ayesha also sacrificed.. Medal.. Education.. Her freedom to work.. She married a rich but very dominant guy with issues, and she is lonely..

Except for roti, luxury.. What did Zoya sacrifice in comparison to the sisters? Running away for love, leaving them behind to deal with whatever would follow. Leaving them with debt and no face to show for, Zoya did not consider her sisters too..

And.... In the end I don't understand why everyone is so surprised... Especially Qudsia and Bobbi.. Zoya always said she would not accept any wrong doings to her and just runaway..

Maybe unconsciously.. Bano did let her go.. She could have followed her etc. You see your sister at that time with bags and all.. She is not going for a picnic right?

I can see how much you love Bano and you are right, her character really runs the risk of being overlooked because she is so quietly good.

Bano's goodness makes her vulnerable and at the same time strong. We have not seen the sacrifices she has made. We see her when she is tired of making sacrifices and so it is easy to ignore what she has done for the family. And really she deserved better. Even Bobby phupho did not stand by her at the time. Ayesha did try in her way, but it was not enough and it was too late.

Zoya thought she was being clever, but the decision she has taken has put her on a difficult path. Especially since now she has lost the protection of her family. I did feel for her though in the sense that the family sort of went ahead with her marriage to that other guy. But you are right, Bano would have stood by her had she stayed in the family and decided to refuse the marriage proposal. But I think Zoya has always seen her sisters as her antagonists. She doesn't really think or even expect them to help her just like she would never have done anything for them. But I think post-marriage, Zoya is in for some bitter truths. I want to see what effect that will have both on Amir and Zoya.

And Bano and Basit parallel was spot on. Both have seen betrayal from their parents. But their reactions are very different to it...more in detail later maybe...

And yess...I love these relationships that are being forged between different characters...there is always a hook there that draws in your curiosity...

Poor Ayesha - I too feel for her.. She was happy with the flowers, even though he diverted it in the way she did.. A thank you for supporting him, for staying at home all day all alone.. and perhaps... he read the selfhelp book too..

I don't think Basit will apologise. Even if he does, it will be a qualified one, where he will point out what all Ayesha had done wrong as well. But yeah...idk... this whole thing that is awaiting us could have been avoided had Zoya answered the call and told Bano that hey am getting married. get off my back.

Actually I am very excited for that scene in the promo when Basit tells Ayesha you turned out just like my mum. get out of my house. That is something Ayesha has been waiting for him to say since the moment she realised the extent of bad blood he has with his mum. I want to see the penny drop and then settle. It shouldn't even come as a shock to her. But before that, I think that conversation where Basit tells her that her lying to him has broken his trust, will be when she will really regret her behaviour. She has to realise that whatever the reasons maybe, lying to your spouse is just not done.

With Fahad, till now we have seen him as Rishu said, the Voice of Reason. Of course he is acting unreasonably. His concern for Ayesha's family seems a little odd...over much I would say. maybe something will come out. Idk...

Zoya and bitter truths.. Yes, I think sometimes people forget they marry not only the person they love but also the whole family (and there might be less love there).. I think Amir's parents have little respect for this marriage.. Dad has no expectations of Amir.. One cant live on love alone..

I’m honestly not fond of shows or plots where everything is conveniently blamed on only the central character despite not being able to convince the viewers that it’s completely the character’s fault. Habs has done it multiple times now, like they blamed the contract marriage on him, Sadia’s death and now this, whereas in each case Basit looked visibly sad, traumatized and mostly not at fault.

And I would still be understanding Ayesha has Basit not hinted that he knows it’s a lie, or not given space to her to talk, it’s not the situation of Humsafar where things were planned so that we didn’t blame Asher or khirad alone, here it’s a self destructive lie that too a stupid white lie which Basit anyway will figure out.

@ bold Absolutely!! This track is I think designed to get Ayesha out of that caregiver role she has placed herself in, and realise she is Basit's wife. He has made progress but she refuses to see it for what it is. That could be because of her inner insecurities. She probably thinks Basit cannot be interested in me as a person and that her role in his life will be an improved version of Karim. She has not opened up to him about her thoughts and feelings since the car conversation they had. Since then every time she has spoken to him, it has been about his relationship with his mother. But I kind of understand why she has shut him out. That last time, you could see, she was speaking from her heart. And Basit acted like he didn't care. He obviously did care inside and we see that. But she thought he didn't. In fact he called their marriage "musibat". So I guess by keeping him away from her family's shame, she thinks it will be easier since he wouldn't have to deal with what he essentially feels is a burden on him. But Basit does care and he is concerned. Ayesha does not see that. So the current stage of their journey will be about Ayesha's realisations.

And, this is not KAM3 where you’ve billions of characters to screw up, here we had only one soul companion of Basit who was Fahad, and they successfully put him under the bus too. They know each other ever since they were 4-5 year olds and suddenly he’s lying to Basit knowing how Basit is the last person to appreciate lies? Huh

And if Basit apologizes to them which he’ll do, that only shows how he’s the better person here, but sadly no matter what he does, Ayesha’s stance of him being disrespectful to women stays, like I thought after the development of past two episodes she should or will have changed perspective about him, but after doing everything she wanted him to do, he’s still not good enough to be trusted or he’s not a man who respects woman in her eyes, so I don’t know what more he can do?

Someone tell Ayesha, making food in the kitchen or having conversations doesn’t make her a good wife, if she expects Basit to be a good husband which he’s definitely trying to be, then she has to put an equal effort too, zoya and her family was his responsibility too as he has said it multiple times, and the poor boy was genuinely worried about Qudsiya health, wow my Basit will be hurt 😞
