AKT character wasn’t butchered to make Aryan look better, not at all. The minute AKT marries MC without annulling the forced shaadi with Imlie,he gets the bigamist tag, after that, the dilly dallying he did with both women makes him a character not worth rooting for. Of course both Imlie and MC simply should’ve moved on instead of fighting for the same guy, so they themselves are responsible for their own miseries.

As for ASR is concerned he isn’t perfect either, he has his share of issues. Regarding him thinking the kid is not his, Imlie ever since coming back to RM ,always was in a hurry to go back to PD, he is only thinking in the line of, she has the right to move on, maybe she’s better of without me, he has lost the right to ask her to stay back.
Once again for a relationship to have issues, both partners play their parts, not just one is responsible.

He is NOT thinking she has cheated on him. Writing has been all over the place, his sharpness and calculative mind is not there anymore, he isn’t supporting everything Imlie does like he used to etc etc…but equating him to AKT is 🙄

AKT agreed to married Malini due his obligations to the child she carried . Even last minute he backed out . What obligation ASR have towards Cheeni which he come to know 9 months ago only . He is not directly related to Cheeni . Or is it his obligation towards Cheeni bcos of the trouble he cause her father ? Redemption for ill treating a innocent man ?

Luckily it’s going to over if not the 3rd time he got her pregnant, he might come out with other theory claiming he is not the father . A leopard never changes it spot 😂😂😂

Before giving my views on various characters... I Just want to say please don't take it personally - I mean how ITV characters r behaving... In ITV, most of the characters loose their original essence TRP race.

Also, below r personal views and many might not agree , but that's okay I guess 😊

1. Aditya: I started watching Imlie and liked Aditya in the beginning ( that actor is impressive), but later on stopped connecting with his character. Back then, his character was not destroyed for TRP etc, he was originally meant to be like that .. he was not an ideal character like most of the real life man.. on one hand he was shown to hold the beacon of truth, on other hand he was continuously lying in his personal life..on one hand he was the reporter who would seek justice for everyone oppressed, on other hand he blamed directly / indirectly blamed Imlie for the forced marriage in his frustration. I was okay till that time.. things like not telling Malini about his PD marriage & getting married to her.. worst after marrying Malini .. he falling for Imlie..this was breaking point for me. He really screwed up all three lives at that point - His, Imlies, Malini. All this was happening when his character was not even butchered. So, I could never relate to his love for Imlie..that switch from Malini to Imlie was weird & selfish.

His character actually got butchered/ deviated from original conception towards the end when they had to make way in for Aryan. They showed various reasons from Aditya's POV, why he behaved the way he did.. but we all know, CVs have to show something to justify the story.

2. Malini: I think Malini turning negative was justified after she being cheated by love of her life, who claimed to love her equally till a given point.. only thing is her anger has been misplaced. she should have revenged Aditya, Imlie should have been her secondary target, but she only revenged Imlie.. again as she was also selfish. Later she has been turned into psycho.. which seems forced ( again for TRP). She loved ( at least claimed to) Aditya so much still hated her ( Aditya's) daughter, never tried to re-concile with him when daughter was born. Again, u don't see most logical things happening in ITV.

3. Imlie: Main protagonist, young village girl with big dreams. She has always been shown to be the right one , always on receiving end.. to keep TRPs floating, all we got to see her journey from 19 yrs - 26 yes - 2 forced marriages, 2 pregnancies and so much of abuse.

Of course there r many good things about Imlie, but there r some extremely bad things about her too - she has no sense of priority what so ever. Couple of examples - She prioritized Malini's child and jeopardized her 1st marriage, she prioritized Malini's child again and lost her own baby, jeopardized her 2nd marriage.

Also, hiding stuff from Aryan - like about Chini ( for which she had reasons, so I would say fair enough), but hiding something like they being intimate was beyond my understanding.. reasons - he deserved to know and also it could have real life consequences like pregnancy.. which ultimately happened.. and she was ready to destroy life of her child again.. by not coming clean with Aryan. Basically, however smart and bright they showed Imlie to be.. she is not capable of handling anything.. due to her MISPLACED PRIORITIES and habit of keeping things to herself.

4. Aryan - Makers had to get him accepted by public, so he came in as an ideal character ( with some flaws) .. hot, good looking, dashing , intelligent and selfless lover. His character was beautifully conceived to begin with.. the way he understood and supported Imlie was like dream run. Infact I had stopped watching Imlie long long long back.. started watching after Aryans entry. Even when he forced Imlie to marry him.. his intent behind it was her well being.. and that he was very clear on.. but thanks to TRP again.. his character was being slowly butchered from Jo's track.. from being extremely intelligent.. he was shown to be dumb , didn't even listen to Imlie when she presented some things as facts to him, no actions taken by him to safeguard Imlies life at that time.. only his words were there.. and after that it was all downhill.. till now.. he kept blaming Imlie for breaking her promise but wasn't he in the same boat. The guy who couldn't tolerate 1 single drop of tear falling from Imlies eyes.. and understood even her silences, got intuitions when she was in danger.. was not doing anything to protect her, find her and even after seeing in her coma, pregnant.. all he did was planned on marrying MD.. I know CVs tried to justify everything.. but it all looked forced and way out of character for OG Aryan.. even his latest dialogues seemed so insensible. His brain has been thrown out of window and so his willingness to protect/ respect his marriage.

Moral of the story every character in ITV world gets butchered at some point for factors outside actual story... Like - TRP issues, actor issues , story leap, gen leap.. etc.. they don't care about viewers.

So .. please don't get attached to any character.. they r at the mercy of CVs.. they can make any character do anything.. and if you get attached as a viewer.. you will break your head trying to find logic.. which doesn't exist🤩.. so relax... Don't fight.. hopefully Aryan will know that baby his and we can have some peaceful Arylie moments ( not blaming each other) before they actually die..

I. Actually looking forward to FK and Sumbuls upcoming projects.. I hope they find good once.. as they are amazing and have kept the shittiest of script afloat with their extraordinary amazing performances ❤️

Those who wish and dream having a husband like ASR must be a strong person bcos everytime he got his wife , pregnant he will question the child paternity and accused her of infidelity. Bravo 👏🏻 .
