Mmm does she deserve Ranveer? She was way ahead of him when they met but he is now richer, getting the better movies, better reviews, better deals. He is also ahead of any of the men she dated before success wise and he is still young. He hasn’t had any major legal trouble apart from controversies. She’s had quite a few. It’s none of our business but Deepika is no angel either so not as clear cut who « deserves » who.

Ranveer and Deepika are full of drama all the time. They deserve each other.

I just want to say one more thing while talking about class. Not that this determines class. But Ranveer is one of the few Bollywood actors who completed his bachelor's and that too in the USA. Deepika is far less educated in comparison.

He loves her, cares for her, helped her recover from depression, makes her laugh and cheers her up. What else she needs? I have always seen her more carefree, opening up, laughing more, more cheerful around him compared to her usual restrained public persona. So why not? Anil Kapoor had told her not to let go of Ranveer or have second thoughts about him and told her isse acha ladka nahi milega. Ranveer is generally a happy go lucky guy, extrovert and bonds with anyone, makes anyone laugh. He has infectious energy. He may dress anyway or appear weird but if he makes Deepika laugh, helped her move on and heal, then he is perfect. He is also secure and never made her change name or leave work and is not at all insecure of her success. What else she needs? I have never seen Deepika laugh and be happier around anyone as much as she is with Ranveer. He balances her serious/emotional side. Good for her.

He is proud to be known as her husband and brags how she is more successful than him and is proud of it. First guy I have seen who is proud of wife being in bigger league and his wife does not have to leave opportunities or dim her own shine or downplay own success just to take care of his ego or assuage her in laws unlike other superstarnis of past. That alone shows Deepika got the best for her. He and his family had no issues with Deepika working, keeping own name and not hyphenating it and not even with Gehraaiyan unlike other superstar whose even MIL to be created tantrums for films she did or kissing scenes she did even before marriage. This is huge. Ranveer also gets along well with Padukone family and that is enough cherry on cake. Any working woman would kill to have s supportive husband proud of her identity and success. Deepika never walked on eggshells nor gave up work or dreams or changed names just to avoid hurting Ranveer or his family. Ranveer is also successful and on top of his game, has hits, stardom, talent as an actor and hits in all genres. He is not a lallu star son living off his wife's or dad's fame. I daresay as an actor he has more range than DPad. They make great onscreen jodi and are a profitable couple for brands too. Their jodi is win win deal for them and for business as masses love them. Two superstars at top of their game who love each other. What else is needed?

Does she deserve him? I mean Deepika has been cringy especially with her obsession with Ranbir and Katrina. For years she was acting like she wasn't engaged talking about Ranbir boxers, unarchiving her wedding pics on Kat wedding day, talking about wanting Vin kids on international TV. She settled because she knows she wont find a man that loves her as much as Ranveer and ignores the disrespect she rings to him.
