Congrats to Team Brahmastra for the opening! I thought it will make 11 crores at most on Friday.

I don't know whether the opening has made any records or not but maybe this has:

Maybe, the shares will bounce back on Monday and maybe the movie may still turn out to be a flop overall but still this cant be ignored.

I think most are just happy that Brahmastra did not do as badly as feared. And will probably not tank like LSC did.

There is also happiness at boycott gang not succeeding as much as it hoped.

I am not fond of either Alia or Ranbir and never saw their films on TV or online but I kind of like it when the films do well despite state sponsored propaganda against stars and films.

I would have loved LSC to do well too. Just like Dangal, PK, D3, Singham 2 did despite boycott calls. And Tanishq, Dabur are still top brands despite boycott and outrage against them by useless trolls.

No one is going to call a movie that makes 200 cr a flop...atleast not the general audience...because all they see is people flocking the theaters...people liking it and people talking about it..

Ranbir is hopefully going to benefit from this....I know you said its not his credit to take....but if the movie had flunked on day 1...guess who you have been blaming...😆 Just like before Sanju's release...Ranbir was going to give Hirani his first flop...after the movie broke aa records...it became Hirani's movie...Sanjay's interesting life story and what not..

Anyways....no one knows what Bramhastra will do...today is just the first day and who knows that u guys will still get reason to rejoice....I am just happy that the Boycott gang was slapped hard...they know their worth now that movies flop because of other reasons but not because of them....that makes me happy.

I have said more than once in the last few weeks that if Brahmstra flops most of the responsibility falls on Ayan, and then on KJo since he’s the producer. So no I wouldn’t be blaming Ranbir 😆. Actually most of IF has been putting the responsibility on Ayan and his 8 years work schedule 😕.

It’s not about the general public caring or not caring about calculations or distributors and exhibitors shares. It’s about how the PR machinery presents the final numbers. With Brahmstra it depends on the overall flow of its box office collection. If it continues to do well for a week or two it gives Dharma’s marketing, along with RK and Alia’s PRs, the opportunity to go on an aggressive campaign and declare the movie a hit or a blockbuster, with only 200 or 300 cr collections. No one will be making any profits with 300cr. But if it crashes on Monday then they really can’t. Even if the general public doesn’t care about specific numbers and calculations they will recognize a Monday crash. TOH made close to 200cr worldwide. Tubelight made around 150cr. Race3 I believe more than 150cr. These are all big numbers yet no one thinks these movies are hits.

Pehle y’all were busy undermining the movie and were convinced it will be total disaster now that at least it opened well , Viola ! essays are back to somehow discredit the leads. Lmao🤪
