I think given that Ranbir couldn’t bring the audiences in for Shamshera just a month and a half ago, it’s a bit ludicrous to credit him for what is essentially Karan Johar’s aggressive marketing including brining Rajmouli on board for promotions.

My dislike for RK aside, he has enough day one flops to completely discredit him of any box office pull.

So after all the hype the opening is only 33 Crores? I'm not saying it's bad. It's actually very good opening, but some people were hyping it like movie was going to break the record of KGF 2, War and Thugs.

Excellent. This can still crash and become disaster on Monday. But the opening is extraordinary given how most IF members were reacting/posting views on its trailers/promos.

Who? I thought majority of IF comments were extremely negative about it's promos and were made fun of and didn't looked like this will even open to 15crrs as per IF members.

Not being ranbir fan, i am happy movie is doing well. It was much needed against boycott rant and the bhakt's all negative activities and hate.
