so India won at least 1 match against a decent team comprehensively. I will still reserve my verdict if VK has gained form or not until the WC is completed but yeah he looks better than he has been this whole year.

Fun facts:

1. If India defeats Afghans - match is fixed, Afghans don't want to fight against the "masters" India. - Don't ask me who said this, just take a peek at social media, especially twitter. There's a special "twitter" cricket celebrity "D" from SL said the same during the previous WC too, who loves to hate India said it - mutual feelings among Indian fans towards him.

2. Pak defeats Afghans - they deserve it, ungrateful Afghans.

3. Wrong umpiring decisions if go against India - its good umpiring, just human errors.

Afghanistan are a good team but they just played Pakistan less than a fortnight ago in that humid conditions & they gave their heart out. Its nearly impossible to play with same intensity in that heat. If they rested at least a player or 2, that guy could have made a little difference - may be.

Fun fact: Very rarely matches are played in Dubai in September due to humid & hot conditions.
