At times I feel she do take care of basit but at times it feels she is just following her duties..

Promos aren't helping either

I think she begins by following her duties but then you know how we women get...we do tend to start mothering people who appear vulnerable to us...I think Basit's intense pain and grief that she witnesses that night he has those nightmares kind of makes her want to take care of him even more. In the couch scene, she immediately wants to go and make him some coffee since he is back from work. She is yet to realise that a man wants different things from his wife and his mother...though I think Basit is loving this care as well.

Also, I think Basit must have had such nightmares of being abandoned in the past as well, as he had told Ayesha he did have such nightmares as a child. But this time he had Ayesha to hold his hand when he woke up terrified. I think that moment was crucial in changing Basit's dynamics with Ayesha. Even that evening he had been telling Fahad that he didn't know how he would share all his thoughts and feelings with Ayesha but after that night, he feels no hesitation in speaking his mind to Ayesha. And Ayesha stepped into that role of supporting him through this difficult time. But she is yet to feel his love for her. Which is why I am really excited about the prospect of having Basit angry at Fahad. Ayesha needs to see how Basit feels about her beyond wanting her support in dealing with his grief...

Zoya running away was just the twisting of knife in Qudsia's heart that woman needed to experience. I liked how Zoya who is generally the loudmouth among the sisters, when the time came, turned to complete silence as her way of dealing with her mum. Instead of shouting and crying and trying to get through to Qudsia the way Bano had, Zoya chose to simply not say anything and just do what she wanted to do.

Btw do you think she stole some of the jewellery that suitor fellow had gifted her? I wouldn't put it past her! 😆

Jawad is such a sneak...he has been trying all this even earlier with ayesha as well, first spreading those nasty rumours, then after ayesha left the office, he lied to Basit saying that no one knew where ayesha had kept the files she had been working on when Ayesha told Basit that she had left a note in her cabin explaining exactly which file was saved where...I want Jawad punished well and good! 😈

Truly Qudsia has....and I love the way Bano totally sees through her, unlike Ayesha.
