I think Ayesha too is sensing something but she at present is in the mood when she wants to just take care of Basit...after all both her mothers have told her to do that. And she is kind of mothering him at present....maybe in the next epi Basit's overtures by bringing flowers or anger at her talking to Fahad might bring another change in their dynamics.

Maybe Basit needs to cross that bridge of insecurity and distrust that is within him when it comes to women...and Fahad is the safest bet...he cannot remain angry at Fahad for long or misunderstand him too badly.
