I agree, but I think he was also giving her mixed signals. I mean it used to be said that the end game for them was marriage, and Katrina also had this I already invested so many years and will wait for the wedding, not knowing that he never intended to marry her. Compare her relationship to Vicky who proposed a 2 years into the courtship so he was serious from the get go, Ranveer who proposed a year into his relationship with Deepika again serious.

Agreed. But many times the partner who is subjected to that behaviour is clueless about what is happening to them. They tend to even ignore the genuine voices of help around them coz they actually see nothing wrong with the behaviour as they are slowly conditioned to believe its normal. And the toxic partner themselves do not realise what they are putting their partner go through day in n day out!
