I felt for basit in that scene 😆
Poor guy wanted his wife back in room but just couldn't tell her... lol
Ayesha is going to give hard time to basit 😆
He has gotten married...has to face more of such things now... 🤪
Would have spontaneously combusted had I been in Ayesha's place at that moment...☺️
I like what OP says about viewers being used to comforting females...on point this was. 👍🏼

Oh I am worst person to suggest as I actually don't follow any shows... I stopped watching itv years back... they are too toxic for my taste ...
And for ptv I hv returned to it after decades ... it was lockdown that brought me back to watching shows again 😆
I watched sunno chanda and then mere humsafar.
If you hvnt watched sunno chanda, give it a watch.
And thanks to fellow members here for suggesting chupke chupke... such light shows are what I actually love to watch ... no stress and anxiety 😆
Oh btw I watched diyar-e-dil too... even though it's an old show but it was good ...
From recent shows apart from habs, I am following mere humnasheen... but in bits only... I'll binge watch it when it'll be completed..
Did any of you watched ishq-e-la?
How's it ?
So lockdown made so many of us return to new hobbies... Suno chanda and Chupke chupke was light and fun watches ...Diyar e dil i have not because just as your initial thought i find it old and a little too serious.
Ishq e la started well,it was an okay story as well but I felt it dragged midway still you can binge it someday.I just felt making Azaan Sami khan a pure novice in terms of acting to powerhouses Sajal and Yumna were so not done...
They are neither over emotional nor depressing nor tragic . They r the shows with stories wonderfully written and executed. Where you will find meaning in each and every scene and dialogue...and eventually you develop a connect with the characters..they r very realistic and thought provoking. 😀
crying is my problem.. nowdays I cry over just about anything ...while watching my fav movies like jaane tu ya jaane na..ye jawani hai Diwali..3 idiots..jab we met.. the leads meet in the end and I keep crying ad crying 😆
What I don't like in current shows is the negativity, ott characters, same third angle stories..that's why I love habs..for its subtlety ..anaa was very different from all of them . That's when I started watching paki serials again ...after anaa..I saw yakeen ka safar ..Haan that one u can skip for 15 epis coz it's tragic but the later ones r really good .then I saw ishquia ..khani..do bol..suno chanda..sun yaara ...ishq jalebi..ishq e la..pks..etc diyar e dil was suggested to me by my friend n I really loved it..a father disowns his son in ego n later he regrets , n tries to unite his family .Haan.. one must be patient for a few epis to grasp the story.. once it sets rolling , it's lovely
I too have this problem of crying while watching films/dramas...😆
Totally on point about the excess negativity, ott characters and unnecessary plot lines... tighter scripts and storylines is the strength of the good Pak dramas.

I think we’ve seen a few Indian shows where they portray the female character doing all the work in a relationship and keep waiting for the man to change or love them back. Ridiculous but true.
It is the character trait of every SP super bahu. 🤔

That's actually reality of our society... forget love or hope to change, many couples spend their whole life in loveless marriages... they know they r not happy but stay with each other for society pressure, personal reasons or many other reasons.
also the burden of making a marriage work does indeed lie more on the woman than the man...even in love marriages this can be the case...though there are of course men who are different...dare I say, men like Fahad but they are a rarity
Okayy...will tag Sarcy, she generally has better idea about tech stuff of IF or at least where we can find out answers...
Sarce, can you help out? Some users are having trouble posting images...where can we find more info on this?

I watched Ishq-e-laa towards the end and really liked it. Hum Tum was great fun...witty, light hearted...a lot like suno chanda and chupke chupke.
Currently am watching Romeo and Heer for Feroze Khan,...a very silly show but entertaining. 😳
Diyar-e-Dil was absolutely amazing...I remember the DT here would be abuzz at the time and towards the end Osman Khalid Butt actually dropped a message on the thread for the fans.
Yaqeen ka Safar, did anyone mention that yet? That was a brilliant drama..
currently Fraud could have been good but the show has become far too predictable. you pretty much know exactly what is going to happen.
Oh and Ghisi piti mohabbat, i really liked..
1- how did i forget to add HumTum, i loved it (just like chupke chupke ,suno chanda and Ishq jalebi )
2. i was thinking to start Wabaal and Wehashi but waiting for a couple of weeks to see how the stories are going to unfold.
3. i have loved this pair of Osman and Maya - but Diyar e dil seems a little too serious a story or maybe we can say right now i have so many choices that i am not watching it, but someday ofcourse.
4. Yakeen ka safar - ufff, that was one beautiful story...Nd now that you have mentioned it did you notice the crackling chemistry b/w Hira mani and the guy who played her lawyer husband apart from of course Sajal and Ahad
5. now you are mentioning all my favs my friend - i became a fan of Ramsha and Wahaj (individually) after this show..another good one.
6. i have liked Sinf e ahan as well - and to be honest, I have loved the Shahryar and Sonia's story the most (i am a hopelessly romantic by heart )
7. did you watch Ishq Zahenaseeb - i guess it was the blow to my unconscious watching, this show made me awed of Urdu industry the way they were open to experiments (which is happening only in the web world of Hindi industry)
